25.01.2022 It really is a no brainer for me... if there is someone dear enough to take over and conduct a very special part of the Ceremony; then let them! Allow the kids, the grandparents or that special friend to do the very single thing that Celebrants love to do; the marriage bit. Because it’s about making memories that people will remember for their entire lives. It’s about blowing the kids minds as they get to do the ‘cool bit’ and (importantly) it’s about creating a moment that s...ome will find comfort and happiness in; in their darkest days. That’s far more important than thinking I’m pretty special, cool or ‘in control’. I think I’m finding my feet xx

25.01.2022 Smiles all round here for Megan and Simon at Weddings At Tiffany’s. And my man-crush is still alive and well xx

24.01.2022 Technology is slowly creeping into today’s Wedding... With flat screens, global Zoom links and a tardis; that does need to be removed before the gates lock at 10:00pm people! #1 Male Celebrant, Sunshine Coast; Brides Choice Awards 2020... 24.01.2022 Adam gave us the perfect wedding! Everyone said he was the best celebrant at a wedding they have ever been to! That’s a big call but it is true! A friend was... so impressed that they are flying him out to Sydney to have him MC a function they are having there because he is natural & good at capturing the guests! Adam is such genuine and generous man who so easy to work with he made the whole process a breeze! Thank you Adam for finally making Mik and I official & having a special story in our journey! 21.01.2022 Is this not THE coolest thing ever!!!

19.01.2022 I’m absolutely over the moon to have this arrive this morning... The Autumn 2021 Brisbane Weddings Magazine cover and feature story is about a wedding I created last year for Alix and Cache. Alix and Cache were kind enough to trust me to create something spectacular, pushing all boundaries and some unexplored opportunities. ... But the most spectacular highlight of our day was when our Celebrant, Adam Johnson- Marry Me Adam managed to connect 300 of our family and friends across the world... Check out the direct link to the magazine: https://issuu.com/ontr//brisbaneweddingsmagazineautumn2021 And many thanks to a very talented (tolerant and understanding) team @jodiemodricphotography (front cover Groover xxx) @elopementsnoosa @bloomsofnoosa @raptor_vision @adigital_ @jake_ainsworth Thank you Julz, Kerrie and the team @brisbaneweddingsmagazine xxx @ Sunshine Coast, Queensland

18.01.2022 Saturday night spent reminiscing about the wonderful year that was 2019; and this was an absolute highlight! @kei_lou @birtithebentley @jodiemodricphotography stopped Hastings Street, Noosa in the middle of the day during the busy holiday period to capture a few shots. I fondly remember everyone commenting how beautiful Keira looked, and the typical country girl at heart said to me I’ve never felt beautiful before...... Mate, you are for so many reasons! @noosaboathouse @noosaboathouseweddings @brisbaneweddingsmagazine @weddings_noosa @visitnoosa

17.01.2022 Hello all, There is a lot of confusion going on at the moment regarding weddings, venues, suppliers, dates, cancelations, postponements and more. And I feel for those who are facing the confusion, following all the planning you have done. On behalf of many within the Wedding Industry, allow me to provide some clarity into our businesses... We as an industry are open for business; we want you to continue on with your day! Will we have to adapt, modify, change even at the last ...minute. Absolutely we may have to, and we will. Always with the best intentions and with you in mind. For many of you, walking down the aisle is your first introduction to a marriage. It’s completely foreign and a completely new experience for you. For us, that’s just what we do; day in and day out. Essentially that’s just ‘Plan A’ for us. But we also have ‘Plan B’ and ‘Plan C’ in place. We do this because we are Industry Professionals. It’s the backup plans that we put in place well before the day that ensures weddings work. As a Marriage Celebrant, I have a bunch of other Celebrants that are my ‘Plan B’ and ‘Plan C’ just in case something happened to me. I.e if I had a crash, bushfires, floods or I become ill. They step up, take my position and ensure your day continues; with no further out of pocket expense to you! Others within the game do exactly the same. The photographers, the venues, the cake makers; EVERYBODY has their backup plan. As always; communication is the key! So call your venues, your celebrants, photographers and just have the conversations, because we want to help you. If your wedding was planned to be large; it will now have to be small. That does not make it less valuable, less sincere, less fun. In fact it does the opposite! One of my most treasured moments was standing in a little room, within a little cottage at Somerset Dam. We stood together as one, as I presented the service. There were tears, hugs and truly one of the most sincere and treasured moments that I’ve ever experienced. We then went outside to meet our friends and and family and shared a meal. That’s what marriage is about. The big parties will happen; at some point of time. I don’t know when, but nor does anyone else. If you’ve planned to get married; then get married. Enjoy the day and the experience that this presents. Allow the moment to provide the happiness and the positivity we all want to see. Let me assure you all that we as an industry will bend over backwards to help you and make your day happen; because that’s what we do! Namaste all

15.01.2022 This sums up my night and career desires in one image (captured by Guru Jodie Modric Photography)... When the night settles in and the Bride does this; oh geez I’m happy!

14.01.2022 Quite simply; I love my ‘work’ space. This is where I sit, review my notes and reflect on our conversations. It’s peaceful, quiet and I put pen to paper. If I’m creating something for you, have faith; you are in good hands xxx

13.01.2022 Feeling incredibly blessed to have been working in the background, alongside Hinterland Tourism as we developed a plan together that’s being put to the Queensland Premier this week! We’ve put together a set of rules and regulations for the Industry, the Couples and Guests will to adhere to; which will allow for Weddings of 100 Guests be allowed to happen without the square meter restrictions. Not only will this allow the Weddings to happen; but it gets my wonderful friends th...roughout the whole Industry back up and going. So to all the Venues, Photographers, Planners, Florists, Musos, Cake Makers, DJs, Hair and Make Up Artists, Car/Bird/Lama Owners, Bartenders, Firework People, Designers and everyone else... Hang in there; because our plan is in place xxx

13.01.2022 Allow me to add a little bit of colour in your day; courtesy of Tiffany’s Flowers xx

12.01.2022 Whilst we’ve all got a little more time to plan and prepare (and this is home where I do that planning). I just want everyone that may be concerned about moving dates around; it’s no problem! It’s no problem at all. ... There are no additional charges, no fees, no issues at all. I just change the date. And if that date needs to be changed again; I’ll do so. Time and time and time again. Clear and open communication is always the key, so please contact me anytime if you feel the need to

11.01.2022 To ALL the wonderful couples that are booked in for a wedding this year, I have just wiped $100.00 of whatever balance is outstanding. Wether your wedding is this weekend or the last week of December; I’ve just wiped it. Can I ask though...... If you are considering NOT having something to save a little money; please utilise that little amount to contribute towards keeping another business going! Being Nice. Being thoughtful. Being Human. Namaste all

10.01.2022 Probably my last Ceremony for a little bit and I’m kind of glad it went out like this... I play a very small role within a wonderful team lead my the gorgeous Lynette Maguire, called My Wedding Wish. This is where the Wedding Industry comes together to provide cost and hassle free weddings for those facing terminal illness. Only a week ago Ross and Lora were out shopping and planning for an event that was going to be a few weeks away with friends and family coming to celebrat...e. I had to make the call only a couple of days ago, to rein things in and change the date on them to today (fearing I might not get to them). And I officiated something heart warming. In all that’s going on in the world, Roscos wish was to marry his love of the last 21 years; and we made it happen. Photographer and all round top chick Lou O’Brien was behind the camera today; and I think she captured it perfectly.

09.01.2022 When planning a wedding; really plan!

09.01.2022 Beautiful friend, talented photographer and groovy chick @imagesbylou captured this recently. Not all events are a suit and tie affair; especially when they are beach weddings. So be sure to advise your guests if it’s a shorts and shirt occasion; as this was. But; oh those white legs Namaste

08.01.2022 @weddingsattiffanys today is spectacular!!!

08.01.2022 And finally, the day to come together again to CELEBRATE!!! Whilst we’ve all had to go through a great deal throughout 2020; I also had to conduct 2 funerals for this beautiful family; before finally getting to officiate Dusty and Seans marriage. Still a stack of tears; but for all the right reasons!... I love this little family xxx Thanks @dk_imagery for shooting @weddingsattiffanys and capturing this moment.

05.01.2022 Just for a moment, allow me to highlight what industry professionals can achieve; even in such times. I know plans have to change for you at the moment; and I really am sorry for that. And the vision that you’ve held so dearly may not come to plan. But just take a look at this image for a moment and exhale... It’s quite beautiful really! It’s relaxed, formal, elegant, themed, classy, timeless and highlights what can be achieved by industry professionals.... My friends at Surfair Beach Hotel, Ellie at Sunshine Weddings (styling) and beautiful friend Jodie Modric Photography made this happen. And they can do so again, and again and again. Looks pretty good to me! Namaste all

04.01.2022 Alix and Cache faced what many couples have this year; moving forward with their wedding plans even though it meant that some of their loved ones wouldn’t be able to make it. This included both of their parents, because while Alix’s folks were home in Vancouver, Cache’s family were in Hawaii. I was invited into their lives, asked to be their Celebrant and given the opportunity to create something magical! I didn’t want nice, I didn’t want creative I wanted to blow their mind...Continue reading

04.01.2022 Everyone, meet Betty The Bentley! Betty is very well known and adored around the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland. Whilst this is largely due to Bettys ability to bring so much sparkle, glamour and class to your Wedding Day; but also Bettys ability to get Pat (owner, chauffeur and absolute fun time Guru) around town. And the world needs people like Pat! One of my favourite moments still remains when Betty, Pat and myself stopped Hastings Street Noosa in the middle of a busy week...end to get some shots in the middle of the street. Pat said to me You’ll be amazing at the power of a Bentley; and so right he was. What I love is the fact that whilst Betty is so unique and well kept; you are guaranteed a stunning shot that is destined to become THAT image, that’s displayed in your hallway for family and friends to see! So, well worth a chat and you can find Betty, Birti and more via Birti Classic Wedding Cars https://www.birththebentley.com get hold of Pat (gentle; he is not as young as he once was) on 0422 382 217 and Instagram @birtithebentley

03.01.2022 Yeh; you got me @jodiemodricphotography ... A great catch up with some of the Sunshine Coasts most celebrated Wedding Industry professionals. And as ‘unaware and unprepared’ I was of this image; it’s kinda true... I do dress to blend into the background during a Ceremony; because it’s all about the couples and no one has travelled to see me. ... I openly discuss with couples that I move around to dodge the camera; because couples are not wishing for images of their Celebrant. And it’s the team that make it happen; a team like: @sunshineweddingsau @surfairweddings @sunshinebrides @erinclarebridal @suitsdirect @white.sparrow.bridal @chocolate2chilli Super cool, sophisticated, stylish and dreamy @call_me_will_music @littlejdesign @palomacandyshop and munched adored #marriagecelebrant #groover #gotogirl @sommersaunder_celebrancy But geez you made me feel relaxed Groover @jodiemodricphotography #jodiemodricphotography

02.01.2022 Allow me to showcase some of the wonderful, the beautiful and the wacky within the Wedding Industry... And Luna the 5yo Barn Owl certainly fits both the wonderful and beautiful criteria! Luna is a one of Jason from Raptor Visions birds. He (being the one that doesn’t fly) is a trained professional and takes care and rehabilitates local birds. Luna has delivered the wedding rings to over 150 couples over the years and it’s quite a thrill for everyone to behold. He simply flys ...in and lands on the glove that one of the couple are wearing and then the rings attached simply slide off; and then Luna exits the chapel @weddingsattiffanys or property like @yandinastation Just something to consider whilst you are planning your upcoming event! You can catch Jason @raptor_vision on 0436 333 997 or [email protected] And Credit to @trentandjessie for capturing a flying owl in the centre of a crowded chapel xxx

02.01.2022 Are we open for business; absolutely we are! Weddings At Tiffany’s is one of the most iconic and breathtaking Wedding Venues in Queensland. And if your current venue faces challenges and can not accommodate your needs; the team at Weddings At Tiffany’s will bend over backwards to make your day happen!

02.01.2022 Pretty chuffed to be able to have such a beautiful setting for a ‘Legals Only’ ceremony... So if you’re wanting something a little more ‘low key’, I can help xx
