25.01.2022 In the process of making 2 more dance floor panels. Which will make it 4.2m x 4m instead of 4m x 3m. Also making a bar top to sit on 2 wine barrels or will make up some lower legs so it can be a massive grazing table. Still need to do some finishing touches but happy with how it’s going. Hopefully coming soon a new and bigger dance floor for when life gets back to normal.

24.01.2022 Time for a bit of product maintenance on my wine barrels. As they were looking a bit shabby. Time to vote old look or the new look barrels?

21.01.2022 Some of the new timber and fold up chairs that will be available soon, once I give them a little bit of a make over. Will have 86 of them to hire once I am done.

20.01.2022 So the gold/ with black fleck arbour has been touched up and ready to hire. Very easy to set up it took about 10min to set up and comes in 4 sections so easy for transport.

14.01.2022 I did a quick set up today of the dance floor and festoon lights in the backyard. Only used 20m of the lights to. Just to see how my new Rustic festoon light poles went. To say I am happy with how they work and look is an understatement. Nothing else like it on the market or at any event hire company. Poles are now available as well to hire have 10 at the moment and will have more soon. No alive trees were harmed in making of poles either.

11.01.2022 In this uncertain time and unknown future with functions, parties or weddings being able to go ahead, anyone who has booked Amarosa hire service and has paid a non refundable deposit, will unfortunately lose it. But, if you rebook my services for a later date or reschedule to next year, you will not have to pay a deposit as you have already paid it. Hope everybody stays safe in these trying times for everybody and we come through the other side together. Thanks

11.01.2022 Ok I need some help? Thinking of purchasing some new chairs, as I am going away from the mixed rustic timber chairs. I still have some but they won’t be the main dining chair to choose from. So we have 3 colours or mix of 3 or mix of 2?

09.01.2022 This is how the old barrel becomes new again, but still keeps its rustic charm. Just another 7 to do but it should be easier now I know how to do it. As it was a first at restoring a wine barrel. Hope my bookings like the new style as the old ones were starting to look a bit shabby.

07.01.2022 For future customers that would like to hire my products. Could you please take care of them like you own them. As I have taken allot of time to refurbish or make them like new again. As I will start charging a cleaning bond or you will completely lose security bond. I know a bit of dirt of marks on stools cannot be helped. But this return is beyond what I call same condition as they left and this is how they were returned

07.01.2022 Little project I have been working on, as I had these bottles and wasn’t sure how to use them. So came up with this idea for center pieces. I have made only one so far but can make 11 more. If people like them and would use them. They will come as is with flowers and all. What do we think yes or no? Thanks guys

06.01.2022 I also now have this Hexagon Arbour now for hire, does not come with floral arrangement. Comes apart for easy transportation and goes together very easy.

04.01.2022 New Arbour I have been working on. Photos are not great on the front deck. But gives you an idea of what it looks like. It’s gold/with a black fleck circle Arbour and comes apart in 4 sections so very easy to transport. Still have to do some final touches and will be ready to hire.

04.01.2022 Ok need some help on what you guys think? These 3 chairs I had but only had two cushions. So one I made up a timber base and the other two to put a red rose pattern over the white cushion. Or should I do all timber bases for them and use cushions on two other chairs I have. Please help as I am not sure . Also another chair I am working on.

02.01.2022 How did Amarosa all start? My wife and I were doing all the planning for our wedding and started well in advance so we could shop around to compare prices. We got a lot of prices off people who specialise in wedding styling, set up and hire. But we couldn't believe or justify some of the quotes we were getting and it just seemed you mentioned wedding and the prices went straight up. So we decided to source the items we needed from different vendors and I ended up making a ...lot of the items we needed myself, like the 6.6 meter bridal table, dance floor and refurbished chairs. Then we got the most wonderful people to come style, supply the flowers and make it all look beautiful. Well to say we saved money was an understatement. Now I have all these amazing rustic timber products to hire for people to hire for any event. I can supply it and you can style it. I just want to help people be able to have beautiful products but not cost a fortune. So anyone wanting to DIY for any event, I might just have the stuff to help you out. See more

01.01.2022 Two more vintage chairs I have fixed up. Red vinyl is from old chair just made a new base and padding, green vinyl is all new, their definitely is an art to upholstering and will pay a professional to do the other 3 as it near did my head in but not to bad for a tiler

01.01.2022 Now available to hire, is this beautiful Camphor Laurel slab, to use as a bar top or even a massive grazing board at the moment sits on two wine barrels, but will make some legs for it to sit on for grazing board. As it’s a bit high for a grazing table on wine barrels. Really happy how the old wine barrels are coming up and now look a bit more rustic and new.
