24.01.2022 Today is such an exciting day. In the last few years a revolution has been brewing in the wedding industry. Propelled by progressive visionary vendors willing to go that little bit further to give couples the weddings they dream of, not the weddings they feel they're 'supposed' to have. One of the groups at the forefront of that are Unholy Matrimony. As you can probably guess by their name, their weddings are very, very far from vanilla. They don't mind getting a little dark,... sometimes punk, sometimes pagan, sometimes goth, sometimes rock and roll, everything EXCEPT vanilla. Up until very recently I have admired all the work they've done from afar. And then recently I was so freaking excited to be asked to write an article for the debut issue of their magazine. I profiled a wedding featuring the work of mindblowing celebrant Mellie Reiffel from Two Tie The Knot Celebrant Services. It was only after I'd completed the article and it was accepted for print that I suddenly realised it may well be a first for a wedding magazine. I had certainly never seen an article of its nature in a wedding magazine before and nobody I have asked has either. What makes it unique? For now, I'm not going to tell you. But there's one easy way to find out and that is to read it yourself. Unholy Matrimony is out today. You can read it online as a digital copy or you can order yourself a print version.
