25.01.2022 As a Moorabbin resident I love supporting our local businesses, especially during these difficult times.

23.01.2022 Waves Leisure Centre, 1st winter swim (some weeks ago)

22.01.2022 The footpath between Healey Street and Horscroft Place is an important link between Moorabbin Reserve and Moorabbin’s station and shopping precinct. However it is very narrow, poorly lit and unattractive. I would like to see Kingston Council bring forward its plans to expand this pocket park so that works can begin immediately.

22.01.2022 Moorabbin’s industrial hub is a real asset for the community, supporting local jobs and businesses. I see lots of opportunities to support this area, such as landscaping Cochranes Road and creating pedestrian and bicycle paths that link Moorabbin’s residential area to Karkarook Park.

20.01.2022 If you have time please check out my website and complete my Karkarook Ward resident survey https://martin4kingstoncouncil.com

20.01.2022 Have you seen how fantastic the new Bentleigh station looks? I believe Moorabbin station is long overdue for a facelift.

18.01.2022 Moorabbin is lucky to have its very own local brewery producing great tasting beers and ciders. Shopping local to support small business has never been more important.

16.01.2022 I have received comments from the community expressing concerns about the pedestrian overpass at Nepean Highway Moorabbin, which is used by many primary school aged children. The concern is that a child could lose control of their bicycle or scooter on the ramp which leads directly to the road. I would like Council to install a barrier or landscaping here as a safety measure.

15.01.2022 The revitalisation of Moorabbin Oval has been a great addition to the area. Some new directional signage would make a huge difference.

14.01.2022 Keys Road Moorabbin has a huge sporting ground, but it is hidden behind this overgrown street frontage. Harold Caterson Reserve at 92 Keys Road is home to the Moorabbin Rugby Union Football Club. I would like to see Council take better care of this asset and improve its presentation for our local community.

09.01.2022 A variety of successful businesses are operating in Moorabbin’s industrial precinct, if elected I will advocate for council to continue supporting our local employment hub.

07.01.2022 Did you know that Karkarook Ward shares its name with Karkarook Park? It is a real hidden gem and well worth a visit.

05.01.2022 I have been an active participant in the local community and am seeking to make a greater contribution. This year I will be standing as a candidate in my local ward Karkarook in the Kingston Council local government election.

01.01.2022 The upgrade to Linton St Reserve playground is the benchmark standard for all our playground redevelopments
