17.01.2022 Let’s talk! For those I haven’t had a chance to meet, I am Martina. Or Marti, Mar, Mum, depends who you ask. This is my thirteenth year in Kalgoorlie can I be called a local yet? Born in the Wheatbelt and raised in a small cray fishing town north of Perth, I miss the beach, but I love the Goldfields too! Did I mention I really miss the beach? Well, I do but the Goldfields has provided so much for me and my family over the years. ... I moved here with my boyfriend, now husband, and we entered the property market in 2006. We joined a football club, which we call our family (our real family are over 8 hour’s drive away!). We have witnessed the ebbs and flows of real estate in Kalgoorlie over the years, and are proud to call the Goldfields home. I am always amazed with what Kalgoorlie has to offer, our two children have access to an amazing primary school, walking distance from our home. There is always employment available in so many different industries, young couples really can work their butts off and save for a home deposit as well as an overseas holiday well that’s what we did in our first year here! (FYI - Italy was amazing!) For now, weekends are a mixture of sports games, bush BBQ’s, community events and most Sundays are saved for home opens. It is a juggling act most of the time, but with the support of my family I am so passionate about real estate, and matching a seller with a buyer. It is such an overwhelming experience for most people, I am a people person, and I would love to sit down, have a cupa, a chat and answer any questions you may have.
