24.01.2022 As we go back into stage 3 lockdown, we will remain open. If anyone doesn't feel comfortable coming into the salon please call us asap and let us know! 12.01.2022 We were very hopeful to be seeing you on the 14th of September. As you may have heard the ‘Road map’ out of stage 4 restrictions have been announced. Hairdressing falls under and is included in the 3rd stage of the covid normal.... Unfortunately the date for bookings will be closer to the 26th of October. The conformation on opening dates for the hairdressing industry with be announced by government on 12th of October. If the case numbers are low enough we will get the go ahead. We will still re book people for the 26th of October and play it by ear I know this has come to a shock to a lot of people and I just wanted to let you know that we will get through this We are still contactable on the mobile number if you call the salon it's on the answering machine, I will be calling more clients in the next few days to re arrange appointments. 11.01.2022 If you are feeling sick with a cold, cough or anything that can be transmitted through human contact, out of respect, please do not come into your appointment sick as we need to avoid getting sick and others sick. You can text or call us and let us know of your situation and we will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment. This also includes bringing in any guests with you into the salon who are sick.... If you come into your appointment unwell you will be asked to leave immediately. Also if you have travelled to any countries of which the government has deemed worthy of being in quarantine post travel, or been in contact with anybody who has, please reschedule your appointment. We want to keep our salon as safe as possible and free of anything harmful so we can continue to provide you with the best possible service. Thank you all for your understanding.

11.01.2022 MASKS NOW MANDATORY As per the Victorian Governments newest policy to reduce COVID-19 transmission, masks will be mandatory to be worn in public from Thursday the 23rd of July. This means you MUST be wearing a mask while you are in the salon and while getting your haircut or coloured. If you are not wearing a mask, we will not be able to service you. We will have a few disposable ones and we recommend only having disposable ones in the salon while getting your hair done a...s we can not guarantee you won't get colour on them or have them damaged. When coming for a haircut, we ask that you please wear a mask that is held behind your ears (most of them are). This allows us to still cut, comb and colour your hair properly without the mask interfering. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during these times. 08.01.2022 TRADING HOURS UPDATE Currently, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having an effect on everyone. Whether it be your work, travel, social life and everything in between. As you are probably aware, this has a profound effect on small businesses like us and many others. Less people want to go out and about or go to places where there is close contact with people and that means a decrease in customers. However, whilst the customers may slow down, the bills do not for businesses. This ...is out of everyones control, but businesses must be smart in times like these to ensure we can still remain sustainable and get through to the other side. We would like to let all of our customers know that over the next few weeks (pending on the ever-evolving situation of COVID-19) that Martin Hall Hairdressing closing hours may change with little to no notice unless we have clients booked in at the time. We will try and give as much notice as possible and post to our social media if we have closed for the day. We want to be open and transparent with our customers. If we have no customers in the shop towards the end of the day, we may make the decision to close the shop early, as we simply cannot afford to stay open if nobody is coming in. 05.01.2022 Update on the current covid-19 situation and how it effects us: We will still be open, but only myself (Rose) will be available for services. Under the governments strict guidelines for hairdressers we can only do 30 minute appointments. Days I will still be playing by ear so if you do call and no one answers please call or text me and I will do the best I can to try and get everyone in. Any future appointments people have, you will hear from me soon. Having been restricted ...to 30 min appointments, I ask that if you are coming in for a haircut please come in with clean hair as I will not have time to wash but I will try my hardest. I will not be able to do certain services like foils though. If you need a toner that can be done and it is also a good way to stretch out your colour a bit further. Please be patient. And stay safe and healthy Also I will be doing 15% off Davines products and 20% off De Lorenzo. Also remember to re fill you Davines shampoo/conditioner bottles! Just call before coming in

01.01.2022 This has been a very hard time for all of us, but as of Wednesday 7:00pm we have to close for 6 weeks due to the new stage 4 restrictions. I have already contacted most of my clients for next few weeks and will continue tomorrow to contact anyone else that is booked in. In the meantime please feel free to call me tomorrow, if you have foils I will not be able to fit you in but I suggest getting a toner as this will help get you by. We might be able to fit in a 1/4 head at 11:30 with Effie. If you are feeling dark or alone please call life line 13 11 14. I am also here for anyone if I can help anywhere.
