16.01.2022 Just received this great news from Kevin Rogers: I was happy to receive the great news that I have been accepted and published in Coloured Pencil Treasures - Colored Pencil Masterworks From Around The Globe Volume VII publication, which is based in the USA. The book will be out late next month.

15.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. We are still aiming for a June 15 opening. Social distancing will be observed, and we are in getting this organised. So stay tuned. Someone will be at the Gallery tomorrow ( 27th) morning for a few hours from 9am. Also probably on Friday (29th). Pop in if you need to collect art work. 10.01.2022 The Beacon attended the opening of Kevin Rogers - Master Colour Pencil Artist- at his new exhibition, "Works of HeART" at Maryborough Art Gallery on Friday nigh...t and this is truly a MUST SEE event. Kevin is a World renown and award winning artist who lives in Howard, he has travelled extensively throughout Australia and his art is reflective of his distinct perceptive of our Australia. Works of HeART, runs from the 1st of July through the 29th August and is free for all. Works on display are both in full colour and monochrome and has subject matter for every taste. This will be Kevins only exhibition this year so it is definitely worthwhile coming in to view the Masters work. We will be featuring Kevin in our next edition #10 which will be available August 1. 05.01.2022 Sorry, have been a bit absent lately. Working on our FB page and web page for a bigger brighter future. Anyway, please come in and see our memorial exhibition to Joyce Bott. Some amazing work and it is for sale. We also have Kevin Rogers Exhibition for another month with the addition of some fantastic miniatures.

05.01.2022 Opening getting close. Next Friday (12th) we will be in the Gallery setting up the final Covid requirements. If you have Artwork that needs collecting we would appreciate it being picked up on that day, feel free to bring in New work for Gallery 3. We are also needing more volunteers. Even 1/2 a day a week would be great. Remember strict Covid 19 restrictions will be enforced. At this stage no workshops are allowed, but we think they may start in July with the next stage of restrictions lifted. Looking forward to seeing you all after the 15th.

03.01.2022 Sadly, we have been advised that Dorothy Jarvis passed away on the weekend. Unfortunately she never got to see her artwork displayed in our Gallery. Her exhibition will remain on show until the end of July. RIP Dorothy.

02.01.2022 Not long now everyone. Remember, we need more volunteers, or we will not be able to stay open every day. A few of us are at the Gallery tomorrow Friday for final preparations for Monday. If you have Artwork to pick up or new work to hang feel free to come in. Still no workshops, but hopefully not too far off. Social distancing still applies.

02.01.2022 We are all set to open. We still have some Stephen Preston Artwork up and an Exhibition up of Dorothy Jarvis. A lovely lady who only started painting late in life. Some very interesting works done from her trip to Antarctica. Please let everyone know we will be open for business on Monday 15th. 9am.
