29.01.2022 Deep rooted grasses so much better for the environment in sequestering carbon.

25.01.2022 This is a fantastic and balanced doco (thanks Greg) and I would consider it a ‘must watch’. While we continue to heat the planet, it is of course going to increase the pressure on our young to eventually resort to extreme environmental, oceanic and (yes it scares the pants off us) atmospheric geoengineering. Please watch it through to the end before commenting.

21.01.2022 Read about one of the biggest big ships and wonder at the craziness of mining for gas that is only needed for company profits ,will contribute ghg emissions an...d requires complex engineering that can go wrong . Shell will have to do a lot better before they can convince me that buying up Powershop makes them a responsible corporate citizen ,. See more

06.01.2022 Some of us from Maryborough attended the Castlemaine student led climate strike on Friday. Although the bulk of local students went to the major event in Melbourne, it was a wonderful event. We know Castlemaine students play a leading and organising role in these climate strikes across the state. Congratulations Castlemaine.

02.01.2022 Credit to the federal government if this is going ahead now. It’s not the emissions expanding direction the rest of their policies are heading towards though. I wonder how this could benefit local farmers? https://www.theage.com.au//world-first-scheme-could-open-c

28.12.2021 This is a wonderful read thanks Barry.

12.11.2021 What a great discussion we had with Don Culvenor from Renewable Newstead. Don is an amazing person, businessman and community builder and the Newstead Solar Farm (which is nearing construction) is a unique and innovative way to produce cheap community energy.

31.10.2021 Great report on the front page of the Carisbrook Mercury this week.

17.10.2021 Very interesting - a climate monitoring ‘black box’ in Tasmania. Thanks for sending Rachel. https://www.reuters.com//australians-create-black-box-hol/
