25.01.2022 Saturday afternoon, relaxing with Dad

25.01.2022 Hi there, it’s been a while since we posted something. It’s been quiet, cold and miserable here, so we’ve been indoors more than we want to be. Connie gave us lots (and lots) of quinces, so here is the first batch of quince jelly. Next up is quince paste. From Terri and Dirk

24.01.2022 We are very excited as we now have an AED installed at our park. This means it can be used here, but can be used in emergency life saving in the local area, if our AED is closer than the ambulance. Of course, we have completed the required training.

24.01.2022 The vegetable gardens are paying off. We have a bumper crop of spinach, and everyone is enjoying it, salads and soups alike. The snow peas are maturing slowly. (Can you see the first one?) From Terri and Dirk

Thanks to the beautiful Connie, who brought me a bag (big) of apples, I’ve dehydrated apples, made apple butter (in the slow cooker to make fruit straps), apple pie filling, apple and rhubarb pie filling, and of course, the beautiful apple and rhubarb pie for dessert tonight. 15.01.2022 Dirk and I have celebrated 35 years of joyous marriage tonight. "Just married, 35 years ago" was the note left at reception while we enjoyed a beautiful dinner in Maryborough. Who can believe we have embarked on this new adventure of caravan park owners and are still together even though Covid 19 has hurt the accommodation industry so much. Love you to the moon and back.

We decided that installing a playground is an investment in the caravan park for those visiting families with young children, so here is our new playground. Thank you to Brett, John and Wayne for all your hard work in helping us (mainly Dirk) putting this together over the weekend, we really appreciate your help, from Terri and Dirk.
