23.01.2022 So after 21 years, 1 month and 1 day we say goodbye to the Maryknoll store. It has been an awesome part of our lives and we have loved being a part of this community. Today Raj and Gira have taken over and we feel we have left the store in very good hands. We hope the community appreciates how fortunate they are to have a such an asset in the town especially with a 7 day a week post office. It is more than just a store, it's a meeting place, information centre, lost animal rescue....it's your store so as the saying goes if you don't use it you'll lose it see you on the other side...of the counter that is.. 22.01.2022 Hi all, So this will be our last exhibition! We have sold our business and finish up on 17th January. After 21 years in the store it is time to look for new adventures Mum and Dad will retire... or so they think. I'm sure there are lots of jobs I can find for them on the property. Garry and I will start the Nooy Family Painting Business in earnest in Feb 2017 with Maggie as our first worker. We are very excited to have Maree and Dale Evans as our last exhibition. Hope you can come along and celebrate 21 years of the store and 4 1/2 years of the art gallery ~ 2-5pm Sunday 4th December. Maree will be doing a weaving demonstration at 3pm :) Lee

21.01.2022 Hi All, our next meet the artist afternoon will be next Sunday the 6th November 2~5pm. It will also be our second last as we have sold the business and will finish up mid January. So come along and meet the lovely Di Lockwood, have a wine, coffee, cake and chill out before the Christmas craziness begins :) lee

08.01.2022 Come up to the store today for our last exhibition opening, meet the new owners and celebrate 4 1/2 of the gallery and 21 years in the store. 2-5pm~ wine,coffee and a birthday cake. Amazing art from Maree and Dale Evans. Weaving demonstration at 3pm

07.01.2022 Last Sunday was our second last 'meet the artist' afternoon. A big thank you to all who came. We had a great crowd and sold quite a few pieces. The different speakers were very interesting. A special thank you to Di for sharing her amazing work with us and an extra special mention to Tom and Madge Slattery. Tom was Di's Muse for her Yakkerboo icon entry. Tom and Madge were also my bosses for my first full time job many moons ago. Our last exhibition is with Maree and Dale Evans and will be in about 4 weeks... Date to be confirmed and hopefully a weaving demonstration as well :) lee
