21.01.2022 Nathan Ward will be joining us at the Kalamunda Music Festival. He’ll be performing from 8:30am to 10:30am on Saturday August 24th, at Mary's Crema Cafe and fro...m 8:30am to 10:30am on Sunday August 25th, at The Coffee Club Australia in Kalamunda. Nathan is a 12 year old classical guitarist. His father started teaching Nathan when he was five years old. Nathan began performing classical guitar at school, and started busking at various markets from the age of seven. He has played in competitions and performed in various concerts. Nathan also sings and plays electric guitar and piano. He is in the performing arts program at Kalamunda Senior High School, where he is also a member of the choir. Nathan is a member of the Classical Guitar Society of WA, in which he plays guitar ensemble music and he has recently performed at the University of Western Australia. Nathan recently won ‘The Best Classical Guitarist in 2019’ at the Northam Performing Arts Festival for the third time in four years. Nathan might also be performing with a very special guest, his father George Ward.

Aydee has also performed at Paddy’s Bush Bar and Grill as a youth member of the Roleystone Musicians Club. Aydee is influenced by a number of female Australian musicians like Odette, Meg Mac and Missy Higgins. She is currently in year 8, and is part of her school specialist music program studying saxophone. She is looking forward to performing at the Kalamunda Music Festival, and seeing all the other talented musicians and performers. This is a free event. Aydee is busking, so please come along, leave a contribution and show your support.

08.01.2022 Hello everyone. The first Kalamunda Music Festival is scheduled for August 24th / 25th. Venues throughout the City of Kalamunda will host a wide array of musici...ans, all performing for your enjoyment, all under the banner of this lovely community event. There will be a number of ticketed shows and workshops and loads of free performances too. Plus we’re going to have buskers performing around Kalamunda and open mic sessions too. I’ll keep this page updated, so stay tuned. As the musicians (and venues) are confirmed, I’ll add them to the page. Once the line-up is complete, I’ll publish a full list of musicians, times and venues, so you’ll know exactly what’s going on. They’ll also all be listed on Giglist too. If you’re a venue (big or small) within the City of Kalamunda and you want to get involved, please contact me. If you’re a cafe, licensed venue or restaurant, I’d especially like to hear from you. I’d love for the hills to be alive, with the sound of music. 02.01.2022 Jareth Raycraft will be performing at the Kalamunda Music Festival, on Sunday August 25th from 8:30am to 9:30am at Elevated Grounds Coffeehouse, and from 10:00a...m to 11:00am at Mary's Crema Cafe. Jareth started learning music when he was 11 years of age, after he was inspired by Ed Sheeran’s famous song, ‘The A Team’. At age 15, he started busking at a local farmers market and he’s been performing in local cafes and restaurants around Fremantle ever since. Jareth writes his own songs, and now at age 18, he says he’s loving life as it is. We’re so happy to have Jareth Raycraft joining us at the Kalamunda Music Festival.
