23.01.2022 Just a quick update post, it's so great that I'm getting lots of domestic enquiries this week, confidence in being able to travel is on the rise....woohoo! However, things that pre covid would only take me a few minutes/hours to do are now taking much, much longer, the industry has already seen a huge change and with suppliers/wholesalers/airlines are operating on skeleton staff this is causing a delay. With that said I want to thank anyone who has reached out to me and I t...hank you all for your patience. If you book with me, know you are supporting local businesses and I'm not just talking about myself. Wherever possible I will book via a trusted Aussie wholesaler or direct with the property/supplier to ensure we are supporting each other and not an overseas online business (expedia/booking.com etc). 22.01.2022 #funfact did you know #Germany originally started the Easter egg hunt tradition? As well as the Easter egg hunt, they also had a big Easter dinner. Easter lamb, chicken and eggs are typical dishes for this meal, which in Catholic parts of Germany is also a celebration of the end of Lent. Get your kids to draw the flag of that country Teach your children some basic words of that country. E.g- Buongiorno, Ciao Watch a half hour destination video on that country. YouTube has thousands Ask your children to write down three tourist attractions they have learnt about from that country. Eg.. Trevi Fountain Finally, make a meal from that cuisine for dinner. 03.01.2022 Isnt this where wed rather be right now?! My lovely client @nesspardo enjoying the last bit of freedom in Mexico in March this year. Vanessa along with friends Kelly and Orion were my last clients abroad when Covid restrictions hit. Together we navigated the changes required to allow them to enjoy part of their holiday still when their Contiki Tour was cancelled 2 days prior to scheduled commencement and when the girls were already on route. I cant thank these girls enough for the level of respect they have given me after a dream trip with months of planning was quickly cut short. I was just so glad they got home safe and sound
