21.01.2022 In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful Death of Sheikh Al-Tablawi The master of the Qur’an reciters and teachers in Egypt, the famous Qur'an reader Sheikh Muhammad Mahmoud Al-Tablawi, died at the age of 86, after a tender trip with recitation exceeding 60 years. He is one of the Egyptian readers who prayed inside the Kaaba and read the Qur’an in it while washing it.... Sheikh Samih Ahmed Khaled Athamina, a prominent Jordanian Quran master, told IQNA that Sheikh Tablawi, who headed Egypt’s Union of Qaris and Quran Memorizers, died on Tuesday. The union issued a message of condolences, hailing Sheikh Tablawi for serving the Holy Quran for more than 60 years. Mohamed al-Saadati, the union’s spokesman, said details of funeral and memorial service for the deceased will be announced later. The Dar al-Ifta of Egypt also issued a message of condolences over the death of the eminent Qari. Mohamed Mahmoud Tablawi was born on November 14, 1934 in the village Met Oqba in Egypt. Aged 4 years, Sheikh started learning the Holy Quran and completed at the age of 9. He travelled to many countries as representative of Al-Azhar and Egypt’s Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ministry. He also served as member of panels of judges in many international Quran contests. All those scholars and Qurrah (Quran Reciters) that benefited from his ability over the years and who had the opportunity of reading to him will surely miss his company and beautiful recitation. May Grant him Janatul ul Firdaus and put patience and tranquility in the hearts of his family and friends Insha-Allah.

15.01.2022 In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful The Prophet (saw) said, ‘There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than in these (ten) days’. [Abu Dawud] If you are unable to fast for the whole ten days, try to fast on just the Day of ’Arafah, the 9th of Dhul Hijjah. Just as Laylatul Qadr is the most blessed night of the year, ‘Arafah is the most blessed day of the year. The Prophet (saw) said, ’There is no day on which Allah frees more people fro...m the Fire than on the day of ‘Arafah’. (Muslim) Like Laylatul Qadr, we should spend this day seeking forgiveness and availing ourselves of Allah’s incredible mercy. On this day, non-pilgrims have the opportunity to extinguish the sins of two years by fasting! The Prophet (saw) said, It (fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah) expiates the sins of the past year and the coming year’. (Muslim)

14.01.2022 In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful Friday Sermon: Indeed with Faith is coupled with a Righteous Deed Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, may Allah be pleased with him, said, I asked the Messenger of Allah: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Show me an action which if the slave does it he will enter al-Jannah and escape from hellfire He said: ‘Belief in Allah.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! Are there any deeds that should accompany that belief?’ He said, ‘He should give from that prov...ision which Allah has granted him.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! What if he is poor and does not have anything to give?’ He said, ‘He should enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! What if he cannot enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil?’ He said, ‘He should help the one who is helpless (i.e., has no skills and cannot earn a living).’ I said, ‘What if he himself is helpless and cannot do anything?’ He said: ‘He should help one who has been wronged.’ I said: ‘What if he is weak and cannot help the one who has been wronged?’ He said, ‘You do not want to think of your companion as having any good in him? (In that case) Let him refrain from harming people.’ I said, O Messenger of Allah! All of this is easy. So, he said, By who One in Whose Hand is my soul! There is no slave who does any one of these practices, seeking thereby that which is with Allah, except that It will take him by his hand on the Day of Resurrection until he enters al-Jannah. 13.01.2022 In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful The last ten days of Ramadaan passed by so quickly may Allah enrich and reward us and all the Ummah Insha-Allah. There are a few days left let us make the most of it and strive to earn every benefit by the grace and Mercy of Allah.... Let us not search for Laylatul Qadr between the pillars of a masjid only but look for it in the pleasure and happiness of a Father, a Mother, A Brother, a sister etc... by connecting family ties. Clothing and supporting the orphan , widow, poor and needy. Removing oppression and caring for the sick. Search for it in the pleasure of Allah and his Messenger peace and blessings unto him, his family and companions. Departing from sin in our conscience, speech and actions because good actions protect against bad endings May Allah bless and guide us with true knowledge and complete it with sincere good actions Insha-Allah. 09.01.2022 In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful The Messenger of Allah was on Badr at a Masjid known to us today as Masjid Al-Areesh standing in a tent during the night and making duah his tears flowing out of concern, his care, his compassion on the night of the 17th Ramadan. Whilst all of his companions rested, he stood and cried in-front of Allah asking Him for victory, openings, success, mercy, blessings, and protection for his entire ummah. He lifted his blessed a...rms high in supplication, tears left his beautiful eyes, and he made du'a after du'a. What did he ask for? What did he say? 'O Allah, if you destroy this small group of men (313 men) then no one will worship You ever again!' -Look at the powerful nature of that du'a! Sayyiduna Abu Bakr May Allah be pleased with him stood and guarded the tent all night long and when he saw the Prophet in this state, he embraced him and hugged him and told him that Allah will surely accept his du'as. That supplication was made 1400 years ago and it is only because of it that we are Muslim today. How much do we owe such a merciful master who stood for us? How much do we call unto Allah? Many of us have one million problems - Some of us have marriage problems, family problems, some of us are in debt, we can't find a job and others of us don't have children- The night of Badr teaches us that nothing is impossible. Cry in front of your Lord with brokenness, faith, iman, and with certitude - and Allah will give you solutions, gift you with openings, and grant you everything that you need Insha-Allah. May Allah empower us with his Noble Qur’an and the blessed Traditions of the Prophet Mohammad and increases his mercy in this month of a Ramadaan for us and all Muslims in the world Insha-Allah.

05.01.2022 In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful Sayyidah Nafisah, the great granddaughter of Raslullh passed away on the 15th Ramadan. One of my nieces is named Nafisah after this great Sayyidah. Loving the Ahl al-Bayt is the signpost of the Ahl al-Sunna. Those who refuse to give them their due by praising them or even mentioning them are from those who are not truly obeying Raslallh or showing gratitude to him. Sayyidah Nafisah lived in an area of Egypt where many ...Christians resided. There was a Christian child in her neighbourhood who was paralysed and extremely ill and her parents would bring her to Sayyidah who would shower her with love and look after her. Sayyidah Nafisa once made wudhu and the drops of that wudhu water touched the child - So what happened? Allah instantly cured that child of illness and through that one karamah many Christians of Egypt came to Islam. She memorised the Qur'an at a very young in Madinah and became a great scholar of Islam. Her rank was so great that every time Imam al-Shafi'ii became ill, he would send a messenger to her asking for her du'as. The messenger would not return except that he would see the Imam completely cured. If Imam al-Shafi'i sought her du'a from her whilst being from the elite awliya and the imams of this ummah then we can all see what kind of rank she was upon. 02.01.2022 In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful Shaykh Uthman Taha is the famous Syrian caligrapher who was honoured to write the Qur'an. Over 200 millions copies wth his handwritten script have been distributed worldwide. The shaykh said, "I wrote out the entire Qur'an 12 times over a period 36 years - and no one ever found a mistake on a single page. Every page was checked by a group of expert scholars from across the world." They then said, 'It was as though Allh create...d you just so you could serve the Qur'an." The shaykh swore an oath and he said that he once came to the office to write the Qur'an. He picked up his pen but It wouldn't write or move. He called the Shaykh who was in the office with him and they closed all the doors and windows and tried again, but the pen still didn't move or write. The shaykh said, 'Then I realised that I didn't perform a fresh wudhu after praying Fajr so I renewed my wudhu, picked up the pen, and it started to write." He said, 'I was offered millions to draw art in different countries but I refused because I took an oath from my father who was a scholar not to use my skills for anything but the religion. From the day I took the oath, I never drew anything again. I only served the religion through my art. I did not desire money or fame. I only wanted the pleasure of Allh - and He assisted me to serve the Qur'an in ways that have never been done in the history of the ummah."
