18.01.2022 From Monday October 11 the NSW Government has eased restrictions, ceasing orders to stay at home. In order to protect our clients and considering those who are immuno-compromised we are following NSW Government instructions that only fully vaccinated clients (with 2 doses) can attend the clinic for remedial massage at this time. So proof of vaccination will be required prior to attending your appointment. We will still need you to check in as you enter and please wear a mask.... The three types of ID showing your vaccination status that we will accept are a) Covid-19 digital certificate; b) your printed Covid-19 certificate though your myGov website and c) your immunisation history record via the Australian Immunisation Register. If you have a medical exemption from your doctor you may also make a booking, please bring your letter in with you to your appointment. As for remedial massage the clinic is slowly re-opening to more clients. Under current regulations in order to receive a remedial massage your pain or condition will need to be worsening (or deteriorating). Clients who fit this category AND are fully vaccinated can book in via Ezybook; For those unvaccinated/partly vaccinated you will ...need to obtain a negative Covid test within 3 days prior to your appointment. Those travelling from an LGA of concern will need to be fully vaccinated AND have a negative covid test. In view of minimising risk, non urgent clients/gift voucher massage holders (expiry date extension of 12 months apply) are welcome to book in once the Greater Sydney lockdown restrictions ease. 18.12.2021 Updated Message Regarding Covid-19 10/07/2021 Considering current case numbers in Greater Sydney with the Delta variant I have decided to close the clinic again, and will remained closed for a minimum of 1-2 weeks. NSW health state remedial massage therapists are allowed to operate hence I re-opened last week after being closed the week prior. (Please note on Saturday 10th July there were 0 known cases in both suburbs of my work and place of residence.)... However under the current circumstances it feels right to close. I look forward to reopening in the coming weeks. I will contacting to reschedule all clients who are booked in this week, or you can rebook on Ezybook. 17.11.2021 Due to our clinic just falling into The City of Sydney council area Jennifer Elise- Remedial Massage will be closed for 7 days from 12 midnight tonight. During last year's lockdown remedial massage as a part of allied health, was considered an essential service, however at this stage I am advised to close.
