15.01.2022 Planned Reopening Over the Easter weekend, our massage association (ANTA) has sent a clarification according to the latest Closure Direction from Queensland Health Department that remedial therapists are permitted to provide remedial massage at this time. Massage Rejuvenation has decided to start a trial reopening from next week. . .... The Direction has limited services to remedial treatment with remedial qualified therapist exclusively. We will have two therapists (Sarah and Noriko) available starting limited appointment on Tuesdays (Noriko) and Saturdays(Sarah) from next week Saturday (May 2nd), and may gradually add more days on demand. Note, we need to run a remedial massage routine for each client disregards to whether or not you are claiming health fund rebate. . . Your health matters to us, so we have implemented enhanced measures in our practices to ensure that we are able to keep our doors open to help those in pain and in need of remedial massage treatment for a long time since we closed. The following measures will be implemented for our trial operation: . . 1. Appointment only, walk-ins at this stage will expect no consultation/ reception. The in-door gathering criteria are still in force in any business. Please do not wait in the guest area if you dont have an appointment. 2. The gap between each appointment has extended to 30 minutes. We need extra time on cleaning and sanitising the area between clients. Our booking system has been settled for this change and will be available for making an appointment from this Saturday (April 25th). You can safely book any time listed. 14.01.2022 Dear Customers, Due to the footpath close for Optus upgrade and maintenance, Sanctuary Cove Remedial Massage clinic will be closed for tomorrow March 20th (Tuesday) in the concerns of its construction work. The clinic will be re-open on 9:30 am, March 21st (this Wednesday). We have also been notified the Bus Station is currently taking a relocation construction. Swipe your health insurance card through the HICAPS terminal, your claim details are entered and the claim will be authorised by your health fund in a short period. Then simply pay the gap amount - the difference between the treatments fee and the amount of health fund rebate. 2, Is my private health insurance eligible to claim a rebate? It depends on your health insurance product. Normally, a private health insurance with an extra cover (beyond hospital cover) is eligible to claim a rebate. 3, How much can I claim back from my health insurance? It depends on your health insurance product. Most of PHI provide 60% - 85% rebate of the treatment fee. For example, if a customer has an extra cover of 70% rebate with Medibank*, and chose to have 60 minutes remedial massage, the customer only need to pay the gap of $27 ($90 - $90 x 70%) out of pocket. * this range based on the information provided on Medibank website. 06.01.2022 Massage Rejuvenation is incredibly excited to introduce our new remedial massage therapist, Sarah Arkless-Pointon. Sarah is an experienced, passionate and caring massage therapist. She graduated from Q Academy and worked as a remedial massage therapist in an osteopath clinic and other practices for the last two years. While working with the osteopath, she gained great experience in treating a wide variety of complaints relating to chronic and recurrent muscular and joint issu...es. Sarah uses a variety of manual therapy techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy (Trp), myofascial release (MFR), myofascial cupping, muscle energy technique (MET), strengthening and conditioning, etc. which contribute to tailoring each treatment to suit the goals and needs of the patient. Alongside her therapeutic outcome-guaranteed treatments, Sarah also attends her clients and patients in a professional and caring manner. You will feel her trustworthy treatment and warm and caring personality throughout your whole experience in Massage Rejuvenation. She is continually studying, and will soon be offering treatments such as dry needling from the advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. Her passion for all modern manual therapy ensures a keen interest for keeping up to date with research in clinical practice and health. With a constant thirst for knowledge and challenges, Sarah is continually striving to find the best ways to help her clients.
