05.01.2022 I can only get sound and no picture on some TV channels If on some channels such as 9Life, 7 or 9 HD, ABC HD or the Racing Channel you are getting sound but no picture then your TV is most likely MPEG-2. Older MPEG-2 only TV’s are not capable of decoding the newer MPEG-4 signal.... How do I fix this? There are two ways to fix the problem. The first is to install an MPEG-4 Set Top Box to your old TV, but you will now have to use two remotes, one to turn on the TV and the second to change channels on the Set Top Box. This is the cheapest option. The second option is to buy a new TV or Personal Video Recorder (PVR) that is MPEG-4 compatible. You can expect more MPEG-4 channels to start in the near future as broadcasters look for ways to bring more content to their viewers. 01.01.2022 AUDIO MATRIX SYSTEM MAS recently installed an Audio Matrix System for The Ophir Hotel in Orange. The PLM8M8 DPS Bosch Plena Matrix System was configured to give them inputs from 8 different sources such as TV audio, Jukebox audio, wireless microphone & live music to be put through any of 8 different zones in the hotel. The system can be controlled from a mobile phone, an iPad or from a PC. From a mobile phone or iPad you can walk into any zone and set the input and check the ...audio level to suit the number of patrons in that particular zone at the time. Presets can be put into the system for certain events such as sport on TV, raffle draws or live music so that predetermined zones in the hotel receive that particular audio. A Startup preset can also be programmed in to give a default setting for inputs and zones for the start of a normal days operation.
