21.01.2022 Master Builders NSW Executive Director Brian Seidler, is quoted on page 2 of The Australian Financial Review today. The article, -CFMEU deal a threat to post-virus recovery- reports that the construction unions new NSW agreement is threatening to undermine the post-pandemic recovery by driving up wage costs by 25 per cent at a time when jobs are under threat and pay is being cut. The article acknowledges that Master Builders NSW has sought urgent meetings with Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Premier Gladys Berejiklian over its concerns with the unions 5 per cent wage increases and fixed rostered-days-off schedule that would effectively shut down project sites an extra 20 days a year.

14.01.2022 Every building site, regardless of size, must ensure they have controls in place to help improve river health for the entire community and the benefit of the environment. 12.01.2022 Tradies have to carry tools around - they shouldnt have to carry a wallet full of plastic licences. The digital drivers licence was the first step in the digi...tal licensing journey. More than 1.2 million site managers, surveyors and tradespeople hold a White Card to carry out construction work in NSW. These tradies are required to carry and present their White Card when moving from site to site. Currently in Australia, no other state or territory offers tradies the convenience of a digital white card. This is a poor customer experience A digital white card is more convenient and would ensure better compliance and enforcement across the industry This is will help both employees and employers I am working on a solution behind the scenes and will provide you with an update in the next few months.
