25.01.2022 This is David Tansley. David is 43 yrs old and came to Australia in 2009 for a family holiday from England and like a lot of Poms, fell in love with Australia and decided to move here. Whilst living In Palm Beach QLD, Dave stumbled across a game of Masters AFL at the local footy ground. He had watched a bit of AFL via satellite back in England but played soccer at a pretty high level and follows Manchester United in the EPL.. He decided to ask the coach if he could come to... training and of course, in true Masters spirit, he was welcomed with open arms. Dave had never touched an AFL football let alone kicked or hand-balled one. He went to training and loved it! He then played his first game and loved it! In no time Dave was kicking goals, taking marks and playing a game he thought he would never get a chance to play. In Dave's own words... Get along on SUnday and if you're keen, introduce yourself to your preferred club. If you're super keen, bring your boots on the day and have a run straight away (subject to registration requirements for league and each club). It's never too late to start playing!

14.01.2022 The big guy kicking the goal is Lachy in his first ever game of AFL a few years ago. He had played a bit of league/rugby and plenty of basketball and decided to play AFL Masters. He kicked 7 goals 1 that day! Sure it helped being 6'5" and about 120kgs but still an amazing debut to the sport! 07.01.2022 Well we're about to commence Round 5 of the 2015 season. All games are being played this Sunday at Salk Oval in Palm Beach commencing at 9am, then 10.45am and the final game at 12.30pm. The season has been a hit so far with some good footy played, some mixed results but most of all a whole lot of fun. If you're still not sure you want to play, it's still not too late. Guys are joining teams mid season everywhere so don't hold back. Remember, you can inbox this page if you want to know contacts, training times or anything at all.

04.01.2022 Training has started for most clubs. Now's the best time to get down to training and get to know the lads. Sessions are low-key and about getting a feel for the ball and get the legs turning over. Palm Beach is training every Thursday night and other clubs similar.
