When our young men from a young country achieved what thousands of British troops couldn’t do....800 Australians on horseback took over a town, amidst 28 artillery guns, 9 machine guns, 2 aircraft and 4400 men. The Australians killed 500 Turks and took 1500 prisoner, whilst losing 31 troopers and 70 horses. Everyone knows about Gallipoli but not many know about Beersheba. Lest we forget....

The rise in humidity means... the Northern Mouse Spider is on the move, looking for a mate Don't get too close, those fangs pack a nasty bite! Best to just leave them to roam the garden. And if they've fallen into the bottom of your pool (which they have a habit of doing) treat them as if they are still alive, which they easily could be! Lauren Merritt

We are the safest... because Territorians have been the best, and we all need to keep being the best. Our hard border controls are still there and will stay there for a long time. We have cops on borders and in airports, forced quarantine for hot spots, and tough consequences for rule-breakers. We will keep doing whatever it takes to stay the safest place in Australia.
