19.01.2022 We've received a few messages seeking information regarding the blue green algae alert issued along the Murray River. People are advised to follow the advice from the authorities and not to enter the water, not to drink untreated water or bathe in water drawn from the river while the warning is in place. Bring plenty of drinking water. Filtered water is available at the Mathoura water treatment plant, Picnic Point Rd, just before you cross Polly’s Bridge, Gulpa Creek, opposite Gulpa Retreat.

11.01.2022 NSW has updated its Murray River maritime rules. The NSW border starts from the high water mark on the Victorian side of the Murray River. People currently in V...ictoria who intend to enter NSW waters using a vessel on the Murray River must have a permit. This applies to: each person on board a vessel entering NSW waters from Victoria; and all recreational and commercial vessels, including houseboats. NSW Police are enforcing border entry requirements.
