Due to most students returning to class this week, we have split our Junior class into 2 groups. Low belt and High Belts. Until stage 3 is announced, these class timetables will continue for the Monday Class. Wednesday will remain the same. 15.01.2022 Martial arts Tricking Seminar with Phill Gibbs Who is Phill Gibbs? Phillip Gibbs is Martial Arts Tricker and Tumble coach living in Brisbane, Australia. Since a young age, Phill has tried his hand in many kinds of sports such as tennis, swimming, Taekwondo , gymnastics and more. However after many years of trying to find something that combined both his martial arts training and his acrobatic skills as a gymnast, he eventually found his main passion and focus of his life and ...has been devoted to the sport called Martial Arts Tricking. As a well known tricking athlete, Phill has been given many incredible opportunities over his 12 years in the culture. Phill has taken part in a large variety of events, tours, showcases and performances that were not only tricking specific but also for television commercials, performances that were broadcast live etc. What is tricking? A brief overview of what Martial Arts Tricking is (Tricking for short), it’s essentially an aesthetic blend of kicks, flips and twists put together in whatever way the tricker see fit. Tricking take inspiration from many different types of movement such as gymnastics, capoeira, break dancing, several martial arts like Taekwondo and wushu as well as even some less expected areas such as video games! My daughter is one of the most important people in my life and I would do anything to protect her, however, once she is out of my sight, her protection is up to her. This is why she is a part of our MF martial arts family. Our upcoming Ladies self defence seminar is more than just an opportunity to learn some important skills. 07.01.2022 Why do i pay and take my child to Martial arts? For those tough times when they have to deal with bullies For those days when they come home from school and is "too tired" to go to the classes but goes anyway. For my child to learn to be disciplined and respect others. For my child to learn to take care of their body.... For my child to learn to work with others and to be good team member. For my child to learn to deal with disappointment, when they don't get that belt they'd hoped for, but still have to work hard in the grading. For my child to learn to make and accomplish goals. For my child to learn that it takes hours and hours and hours and hours of hard work and practice to create a black belt, and that success does not happen overnight. For the opportunity to build life-long friendships. So that they can be on the mats instead of in front of a screen... I could go on but to be short, I don't pay for Martial Art, I pay for the opportunities so it teaches my child to develop attributes that will serve them well through out their live and give them the opportunity to bless the lives of others. 02.01.2022 Exciting Exciting Exciting We are going to be learning a weapon in Leadership. Bow Staff is the new weapon we are learning in Leadership. Remember to bring your...s in with you next Leadership class. To make yours you need: 1. Conduit - 25mm is best but 20mm is fine 2. Pool Noodle 3. Electrical Tape How to put together 1. Cut conduit to the height of your nose 2. Hold the cut conduit in both hands by your side just wider than your hips and mark where your hands are 3. Cut the pool noodle so that is the length from your mark to the end of the conduit 4. Tape up the end of the conduit (if using 20mm run tape around and down so the pool noodle doesn't slide) 5. Slide pool noodle over each end 6. Bring to class for an awesome lesson.

The MF Championships provides a unique experience for students from around all over QLD and NSW to come together and compete in a fair and friendly atmosphere, to share skills and knowledge, to establish new friendships!
