24.01.2022 THis week our outing is to Golden Ridge Farm. If it is raining it is still open, they have indoor activities. It is recommended that you wear appropriate footwear, such as gumboots, due to the recent rain. Golden Ridge Farm at 686 Old Northern Road Dural, the entrance is in Wyoming Road (Use Street Address for GPS). For timing, it is about 15 minutes from the church. The farmer will:... Hand out chicks, ducklings, rabbits for the kids and adults to hold Take you for a walk around the farm where everyone gets to feed the sheep, goats and large animals. Milking a cow Bottle feeding the baby lambs and kids Arrive at 10.15am as the farm activities start at 10:30am sharp. The farm program will finish between 11:45 12:15 pm approx. After the activities have finished its Free Time. you may have a picnic lunch or explore the farm. No kiosk during the week - so BYO morning tea/lunch. Cost is $30 per family including a bucket of feed for the animals. The venue is CASH ONLY.

You need a ServiceNSW account or at least your medicare card for ID. You may have to vote for at least 3 projects but please put "St Matthews Revitalised Natural Childrens Play spaces" as NUMBER 1!

20.01.2022 Hi all. We are back this week. Its going to be a hot one! Water play outside and air conditioning inside! Bring a hat too.
20.01.2022 Nurse Tahlia came to visit Matts4Minis. What fun! She bandaged them and their teddy bears. Our theme "Thank You God for People Who Help Us" continues this week with Builders. Later we have Dentists, then on 15th and 16th March, the Fire station is visiting us with their fire engine. Matts4Minis Tuesday and Wednesday will each have a visit from the firemen!
19.01.2022 I am excited to see all the Tuesday mums and kids tomorrow for our first playgroup of the year! Hooray!
17.01.2022 Looking ahead to Week 1 of Term 2, Matts4Minis will be having a park day due to the halls being used. We will go to Edward Bennett Park on Tuesday 30th April and Wednesday 1st May from 10am. BYO morning tea and bikes!
16.01.2022 In term 4, we are planning a Family Fun Day for St Matthews playgroup families. Saturday 24th October from 10am - 1pm Jumping Castle, sausage sizzle, song time. All playgroup families are invited - mums, dads, grandparents and siblings!

07.01.2022 St Matts are disappointed by the weather forecast for this afternoon, but wont let rain get in the way of a great evening! Instead of having Carols by Candlel...ight on the West Pennant Hills Public School oval, well be using the school hall and upper and lower COLAs. Come along from 5:30 for the family festival, including live music, jumping castles, face-painting, barbecue and more, and stay for Carols by Candlelight, beginning at an earlier time of 6:45pm. 04.01.2022 At 6pm, the playgroup families will be on stage singing some of our favourite songs!
04.01.2022 This week at Matts4Minis we will be visited by the Castle Hill Fires Station!! They will come to the St Matthews carpark and show the children how it works. Come and join us on Tuesday or Wednesday from 10am. The fire engine is due at about 10:15.

03.01.2022 2017! A new year and a new opportunity to bring your toddlers and preschoolers to a fabulous playgroup. St Matthews West Pennant Hills runs a group on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. School terms starting on 31 January and 1 February. Vacancies on Wednesday and a couple of spaces on Tuesday. Children come with parents, grandparents or nannies.

02.01.2022 We are reviving the Matts4Minis Playgroup facebook page. The next two weeks are off for school holidays. We return on 6th and 7th October, for Term 4 2015. Our theme in term 4 is Animals at the Manger, as we lead up to Christmas. Please share this page with other families who are currently attending the Tuesday or Wednesday playgroups at St Matthews Anglican Church.

01.01.2022 On Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 March, our outings this term on "People who help us" will be to the Castle Hill Childrens Dentist (329 Old Northern Rd, cnr Brisbane Rd at 10:30am with Dr Astrid. Phone 9634 4844.). This is a free fun morning where all the children get to meet and hear the dentist talk about looking after our teeth, and sit in the chair while the dentist checks their teeth. RSVP to Linda (Tues) or Charmaine (Wed).
