25.01.2022 This happened today thanks to the amazing Julie Hyde. Loved being part of this amazing series, speaking all things #bullying, #sexualharassment and #violence in the workplace. Yesterday I learned that another young women took her life due to the mismanagement of #sexualharassment in her workplace. Its time for all in the workplace to step up and change behaviour that puts peoples lives at risk. #stopbullying, #stopsexualharassment #violence #maureenkyne

25.01.2022 Sitting there ready to take the podium as the next speaker with a certain element of fear was taking over. A huge thank you to Speakableyou. So love the methodology Jacqueline_Nagle has developed to help take us as speakers to that next level. The feedback I received was amazing and I cannot thank you enough for being such an integral part on my journey to be a global speaker on what I am so passionate about. Thank you beautiful. Xx

23.01.2022 My article in The Mandarin discusses the impact of casual sexism and stereotyping on mental health in local and state government. "Casual sexism generally has a low intensity sprung from illogical outdated stereotypes. It is mostly covert, though can be clearly overt. It takes on numerous forms, including communicating and treating a person differently because of their gender. It also displays in unrealistic expectations and demands related to gender. " Read the article where... I review how to identify, strategies to mitigate and why it is urgent to address. https://www.linkedin.com//urn:li:activity:672385504592807/

Congratulations to the winners Kyabram Hospital, Pallet & Bin, Go Tafe and SPCs Christina Telford for your outstanding dedication to making your workplaces much safer for all your employees. 17.01.2022 It was great to be interviewed by 3AW News Talk with Tom Elliot on the Push for politicians to be drug and alcohol tested in parliament. What are your thoughts on 'Drug and Alcohol' testing for all workplaces. https://www.linkedin.com//crisis-strategist-bullying-chaos

15.01.2022 As Queensland goes into their second lock-down, there will be many asking how long will it be before we can all be vaccinated and safe from #covid. This in itself poses a problem as there are people out there who will refuse to be vaccinated for a variety of reasons. Some may see these as being selfish and unreasonable and others will be legitimate. All workplaces have a responsibility to provide a safe workplace, so how do you make your workplace safe when you will have empl...oyees who are objecting to having the vaccine. Read my thoughts on this at Nest Egg. https://www.linkedin.com//crisis-strategist-bullying-chaos

14.01.2022 A snippet of my Keynote Speaker Reel. Trust you enjoy listening.

14.01.2022 Check out my interview on TickerTV this morning with Ahron Young. We chatted about the Industrial Manslaughter laws being implemented here in Victoria and the impact of these changes, which include potential fines and custodial sentences for COVID breaches are placing business owners at great risk.

14.01.2022 I am often asked if sexual assault & harassment still happens today. This report highlights that this insidious behaviour still happens and it is common across many establishments. To think that at one university with approximately 389 students roughly 16 students experience sexual assault each week. What ......!!!! The worrying part of this report is that not only are some of the academics the abusers but also some of the students. These students enter our workplaces well armed to assault again and again. Every person whether in the workforce or not needs to stand up and make these abusers accountable for their behaviour ....

14.01.2022 I had the pleasure of being invited to vote on how I view content on LinkedIn by Sue Parker - DARE Group Australia. Sue is highly experienced in the world of social media and is a regular contributor to Smart Company, Flying Solo, Kochie Business School and many more and did I say twitter. Please make sure that you connect with her on LinkedIn and say in the connection message I sent you her way .... just paying it forward. https://www.linkedin.com//sueparkerdare_poll-reveals-vide/

13.01.2022 How do you know that you may have normalised bullying in your workplace? If you accept comments like: Its one of those personality clashes" "Its his personality, thats just the way he is ...... "Its their own fault if they cant stand up for themselves" ... If you say yes to any of these then you have a culture of bullying taking place... Why not join us at our workshop being held in Shepparton on the 29th & 30th November and learn how to Prevent * Detect * Correct inappropriate and bullying behaviour before it becomes an issue. https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/empowering-leaders-to-take- Message me for the early bird promotional code that reduces the registration fee by 25%.

07.01.2022 When will this behaviour end ..... this behaviour is jail-able. If you behaviour that slightly resembles this then you are in trouble, you need to act now before its too late and you end up in jail.

05.01.2022 Last week I shared some insight into TRUST. I used the metaphor KINTSUGI as the science in the art to rebuilding TRUST. Love your feedback on this.

01.01.2022 Sexual harassment is a topic that I talk to many about and I often get the response is it really happening. The national inquiry into Sexual Harassment in Australian Workplaces collated data from a wide source, shows that little had changed over the last 35 years to eliminate Sexual Harassment in workplaces. A summary findings are: One in Three workers expereinced sexual harassment in the last five years in 2018 (it was one in five in 2016).... Only 17% had made a compliant - fear of reprisal and victimisation was great. Sexual harassment happens in all workplaces - statistics were taken from 21 ABS Industry sectors. Sexual Harssment costs the Australian economy $3.8 billion p/a Current training methodologies ineffective. Damages through mediation were extraordinarily high due to threat of reputational damage. #sexualharassment #crisismanagement #maureenkyne #respect #victimisation #bullying https://www.humanrights.gov.au//respectwork-sexual-harassm
