12.01.2022 Last week the Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services Gareth Ward along with representatives from Compass Housing Services visited our newly completed 65-unit Thornton complex which was built under the NSW Government's Social and Affordable Housing Fund. This project commenced in January and was completed in October, giving us a speedy 2.8 Day per unit Construction time. We also thank local MP Jenny Aitchison MP for attending the opening ceremony and her ...positive feedback that "Mavid have certainly raised the bar with the quality of the buildings in this complex". We are very proud and honoured to be part of this build, which will provide a safe haven and many new starts and possibilities to its new occupiers.

It features a mix of Austral Blackbutt Bricks, James Hardie AU Matrix Cladding, and Rendering. The use of these different materials creates a warm welcoming entrance for this modern design home.

02.01.2022 PROJECT UPDATE: Gilleston Heights, Mavid Commercial Project We have made great progress on our commercial project at Gilleston Heights before the Christmas closure. With the McDonalds now complete and operational, 2021 will entail finishing the remainder of the complex including a Pharmacy, a childcare, an IGA and other mixed retail shops.

02.01.2022 FEATURE KITCHEN: Mavid Signature Home, Fletcher This kitchen has so many stunning aspects its hard to choose our favourite part. The most unique feature is of course the island bench. The island bench has been created with a 40mm Silestone Stone top with Polytec Tasmanian Oak feature underneath and continued out to create more benchspace. These are paired beautifully with a matte black Mixer and Sink, which flow throughout the rest of the home.

It’s such a great way to showcase our work and for our staff, suppliers and subcontractors to get recognised for their constant hard work and dedication.
