24.01.2022 As a community, we are facing an unprecedented time with the COVID-19 health and economic crisis continuing to unfold each day, impacting Make-A-Wish in many ways. Given the financial impacts we are seeing in both the retail sector and at Make-A-Wish, and after considering all options, we’ve now made the decision to close both the Mandurah and Port Kennedy Wishing You Well shops permanently. Decisions like these are never easy, and we know this is incredibly disappoint...ing news for everyone in the community. Co-founded by our Mandurah branch volunteers Christine Hodge and Norma Glamuzina in 2011, the Wishing You Well shops have played an important role in our fundraising efforts in WA and made an incredible impact to the lives of many wish children and families. To our wonderful volunteers who have contributed so much to the Wishing You Well shops over the past nine years thank you for your commitment, dedication and incredible energy you brought every day. And to our community supporters and friends thank you for your many years of support and friendship, we are very grateful. @makeawishAust #Wishforce

21.01.2022 Lewis Wish is to go to Australia Zoo to Care, Feed and pat the animals! Lewis has a love of all animals & especially lizards and reptiles! Lewis and his family will travel to the Sunshine Coast where Lewis will have a full day at Australia Zoo and take part in their Khaki Keeper program! Special thanks to Amanda at SweetCakes for the fabulous Lizard Cake! Have fun Lewis - from all of us at MakeAWish!

As a community organisation, our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected, including our wish families, volunteers, partners and supporters. ... We would also like to acknowledge the incredible emergency services who are always so generous with their support of wishes. We thank you for all you’re doing to keep our communities safe.

19.01.2022 As the current situation with COVID-19 continues to rapidly evolve across the country, Make-A-Wish is taking every step we can to keep our community safe. It is with great sadness that we announce that all upcoming Make A Wish Mandurah/Rockingham Branch events have been cancelled. We hope you can understand At this time the only events are the Fathers Day cake stall on Saturday 5th September and our Christmas Cake Stall on Saturday, 19th December, both at Bunnings, this of course could also change Thank you for your continued support
