20.01.2022 Injured Western Bulldogs star Josh Dunkley was reunited with a couple of the club’s biggest fans, twins Marcus and Jacob, yesterday at Marvel Stadium. You might... remember, Josh met Marcus and Jacob as part of the Make-A-Wish Australia’s 35th birthday. Thanks to Pedigree Australia, the twins got the big job of walking Bulldogs mascot Ceasar around the boundary before yesterday’s clash with Carlton. Ceasar gave the boys the paws up, even planting a slobbery kiss on Marcus’s cheek at one stage!

20.01.2022 Day 3 of National Volunteer week. Some of our volunteers and event helpers who joined us for the day partaking in a street appeal. This was a great day and one of my personal favourites.

19.01.2022 In loving memory of our former volunteer Ailsa Davis. Ailsa joined Make A Wish Australia, shortly after it commenced in Australia, when she was 70 years of age. She retired from Make A Wish when she was 90 years of age. During her 20 years of volunteering at Make A Wish, Ailsa brought a lot of happiness to both volunteers and Wish families.... Ailsa passed away quietly yesterday, at the age of 98. She will be fondly remembered and always in our hearts. RIP Ailsa and thank you for everything you did for Make A Wish. You will always be remembered. From all your friends at Make A Wish.

We have some clear favourites, but theirs still more than half a season to go.... 1- Sof 44 2- Zara S 43 2- Kirk G 42 Daniel C is on your tails at 42, with President Soph D in 5th place with 42. 05.01.2022 HAPPY NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK. This week MAW is celebrating all our volunteers so turn our notifications on because our branch will be posting daily throwbacks/flashbacks/events/experiences that our branch has held and participated in. Today we are throwing back (literally) to a 1920'S THEME ball our branch organised alongside the bayside branch which was held at the Grand Hyatt in 2014. ... It was a great night with special guests Melissa Doyal and Harrison Craig appearing to support our great organisation.

03.01.2022 NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK DAY 2: Today we are taking it back to 2015 where our crew held a MAW BBQ in front of Bunnings. (Might i mention it was delicious)... Volunteers Rick, Chris and Soph are still with the Melbourne Branch. Thank you guys for your continuous support. Its crazy how time flies with Soph and Chris being our president and vice president and Rick still putting in the hard yards for our Branch. We celebrate them and all our volunteers this week. Dont forget to give us a big like and share so we can celebrate our volunteers together during this week.
