23.01.2022 Meet 11 year old Christian, who was born with cystic fibrosis. Christian’s days start at 5.45am when he gets up and takes his Ventolin. Shortly after, he has physio and then enzyme replacement capsules with his breakfast. He has taken over 100,000 tablets in his life. 22.01.2022 Who else is a winter baby? Unlike her summer-born sisters, 9-year-old Shayla has her birthday in July, right in the middle of winter! For her wish, she wanted to experience what a summer birthday would be like for once. This is something Shayla dreamed of throughout her treatment and during chemo in the warmer months when she wasn't able to swim. Last July Shayla's wish came true, and her family flew to Queensland so Shayla could experience some sun, sand and warmth for ...her special day. Her birthday wish trip was everything she wanted and more. She got to swim, have a birthday picnic and even celebrate with some of her favourite marine animals. Although she might be in for another chilly birthday this year, Shayla still loves looking back over photos and mementos and remembering last year’s sun-soaked birthday!

16.01.2022 Meet big-smiling Blake. The 5-year-old was dealt a cruel blow when at only ten months old an x-ray revealed a cancerous tumour almost the size of his stomach. What kept Blake going during chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments, was playing at a park located between the hospital and his house. It came as no surprise that Blake wished to have his very own park in his front yard. He can’t wait to spend his days on his own slide and swings.
