24.01.2022 Some sneaky pics from Night #1 of The Voices Project. These young actors have worked incredibly hard on this project. With a limited budget, limited resources but unlimited, unmatched and unbridled courage, passion and heart. Like it or not, you'll be seeing a lot more of them. 24.01.2022 Last night I was invited to my students preview of The Voices Project... all satire aside I couldn't have been prouder at how hard the actors and crew have worked to create a darkly funny, brooding and sweet show. The atmosphere and aesthetic is pretty special. The show starts tonight @7pm and runs through until the 18th in the Rosny Drama Studio. Tickets are strictly limited and ALL PROCEEDS go directly to the actors...you know, so they can eat

09.01.2022 This is Chloe Harle. Just don’t ask her about Julia. Studying the state of the world through her Bachelor of Justice Studies at UTAS, Chloe has concluded that the world is a horrendous place to live and though her previous work such as Calendar Girls (2018), Government Inspector and Love’s Labour’s Lost (2017) was thoroughly enjoyable, she decided she may as well give up decent theatre and join Maxwell Black. Chloe has cemented her distaste for the state of the world through her work in hospitality where she has simultaneously met the best and worst people in the world (although more often the latter). She hopes you enjoy what the company has to offer. Or don’t, she’s genuinely past caring. 07.01.2022 This is Rhys Prestedge, he’s a little Twisted... Quickly approaching the end of his third year of a Bachelor of ICT at UTAS, Rhys has already come to grips with the inevitable hostile takeover of mankind by superior artificial intelligence. As such, he has spent the past few years augmenting himself with robotic limbs and organs, including a (vastly superior) mechanical brain. He was enlisted by Maxwell Black as some kind of AI 'secret weapon’, yet to reveal its true power u...pon the world. He thinks this performing thing is kind of alright. He's been in some shows in the past (such as Sweeney Todd, 9 to 5, and several Uni Revues), but only because it's part of his programming. Definitely not because he enjoys it. 04.01.2022 This is Bethany Smith and you will listen to every word she says because she has the talking stick. Oh hi, you must be reading my bio, that's pretty sweet. How many plays do you have to be in before you can call yourself an actor? Asking for a friend. Does this being my first professional show make me an actor? Have I finally made it? Was acting merely a hobby when I did drama all throughout school and performed roles in plays such as Rosaline in Love's Labour's Lost and Osi...p in The Government Inspector? Was it still a hobby when I did two years of acting training at Cooper Screen Academy? I mean anyone can call themselves an actor but does that make them an actor? 03.01.2022 This is Izzy Brockman. She’s in love with a monster. Izzy was a child prodigy who fell off the rails somewhere in high school and is now pursuing a career as an actor, much to her mothers delight. She loves and would love a career working in musical theatre, specifically her dream role is Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, but sings off key semi regularly and has only okay-ish vocal and dance technique. She is attempting to correct this by taking singing and dance lessons with C...osmic Dance. She has been cast in shows such as Loves Labour’s Lost, The Government Inspector and Between These Lines always as side characters. This is her first time being the centre of attention even if it is only for 10 minutes and she’s going to relish every second as she’ll probably never have this chance again.
