16.01.2022 The Sporty sandwich. Lucky to get away with only a broken brake line and puncture Extremely thankful that Lindsay didn’t roll! Some fast shutter work from Random Panda Photography!

15.01.2022 A bitter-sweet day for Maxwell Racing. Happy to say that we have sold the Maxwell Racing Sporty. We wish the new owner - Brent Reddan the best of luck as he sets out to have some fun in the sporty. As it turns out, Brent is racing out of Mt Gambier - my old stomping ground. The next chapter of Maxwell Racing sees the driving side of things going into hibernation while we continue to crew in the LS sprintcar field. Keen to keep learning all things sprintcar. As with many animals coming out of hibernation, we’ll be hungry, but for some more racing when the next page of Maxwell Racing turns over. Not sure when, but it will be when the time is right.... Merry Christmas to all. Peace and love

11.01.2022 Hi to all! It’s been nearly a year since posting and what a topsy-turvey year it has been. Hoping that all that read this have made it through the trials and tribulations of 2020 with some positives and some good things to look forward to in the new year. We have some good news from Maxwell Racing. We’re hitting the road this weekend to a practice day at Simpson Speedway. David (Denno) Dennison has graciously agreed to share the drive of his #15 with me on Sunday. It’s a great opportunity to gain some more experience and skills. We still need to wait and see what this coming season will look like all dependant on Covid restrictions continuing to ease. Super keen to get some seat time in the LS Sprintcar! We’ll let you know how it goes

07.01.2022 The sandwich...

06.01.2022 Had a fun night at the track last night. Had the oil pressure light come on in heat 1. Got the oil level right and fired out for heat 2. Car felt strong but a tad rutted for my liking. Heat 3 I got sandwiches between Vic1 and Vic2 before we got to turn 1. Had both cars ride over my wheels either side, which makes for some interesting rubber scuffs in some unusual places. Fortunately the damage wasn’t too bad - snapped brake line and a flat. Tractor took me off, Mark (first... time crewing- did an amazing job) reattached the brake line and we went out for the final. Started 5th and finished 4th. Was a fun final, car had plenty of speed and the track kept us guessing... Thanks again Bairnsdale Mazda and Hyundai! Amazing support. Next meet is Boxing Day. See more
