21.01.2022 A huge thanks to Rod Judd, Bob Gower and the Mayne Past Players and Supporters Group for sourcing and donating a new Trophy Cabinet. The additional Nine Premiership Trophies achieved in the last seven years in the Senior Grades required more space in a beautiful cabinet appropriate for the purpose. The Tigers have won 18 Senior Premierships and 19 Reserve Grade Premierships in the almost 100 years since the club was formed in 1924.

20.01.2022 The Mayne Tigers Come and Try for the new Women's team was well attended last Tuesday night with everyone enjoying a training session with some of the Senior Men's team following an information session. Training will now continue every Tuesday starting 1st December 2020 until Christmas commencing at 6pm at the Den at 93 Mott Street, Enoggera Memorial Reserve. All welcome. 20.01.2022 Congratulations to Xavier Craven who was judged Best on Ground in the Reserves successful Grand Final today. A just reward for many years of fortitude battling numerous debilitating injuries and setbacks which would have ended many others footy dreams. Xavier was Assistant Coach in the Reserves 2019 Premiership but is even happier to be a 2020 Premiership Player.

20.01.2022 Everyone knows there is something special about the mighty Mayne Tigers and the Mayne culture. We think this article from after the 1967 premiership win (our 4th in 7 years) sums up that culture pretty well!! Still going strong - since 2014 the senior team has played in 4 grand finals for 3 premierships, the reserves have played in 5 grand finals for 5 premierships and the thirds have won 1 premiership. 15.01.2022 Mayne Tigers young guns Zac McLean and Zac Quin are doing well in the QFA Division 1 Goal Kicking Leaderboard after six rounds while the team is sitting second on the ladder with four rounds to go in the short form season. The Tigers have three games and a bye to finish the home and away season with a home game this week against University, followed by an away game against Coorparoo and then Noosa to follow on Reunion Day at the Den. The Reserves are currently on top of the ladder on equal points with Noosa. It looks like an exciting last few rounds in both grades.

It has been a challenging year for the club so to have this regular fundraiser up and going again is critical for the club. 09.01.2022 Terrific result for the Mayne Tigers in the Duncanson and Todd Medal with congratulations to Marcus Dyson taking out this prestigious Award. Daniel Schmidt and Jack Collings also high on the Leaderboard. This follows past Mayne winners of this award Caleb Brown (2015), Luke Faulkner (2014) and Andrew Housego (2005). Congratulations also to Zac McLean who took out the Leading Goal Kicker Award. Most recent Leading Goal Kicker for the Tigers was Luke Faulkner in 2014, 2015 and 2016. 07.01.2022 The QFA Division 1 for 2021 has been confirmed with Kenmore promoted from Division 2 and Caloundra back making for a competitive eight team competition. Noosa has been promoted to the QAFL and Victoria Point who were to move up to Division 1 have merged with Redlands to also go to the QAFL. Pre-Christmas training will commence for players aged under 22 on 17th November and all teams on the 1st December 2020 ...... bring on 2021. Keep an eye out for more posts on training and related activities.

06.01.2022 The official pre season for 2021 begins tomorrow evening at The Den from 6pm. All Grades are encouraged to attend with a big turn out expected for the next 3 weeks to get everyone's bodies going again! Next season presents exciting opportunities for us as a club to really push for success again and the prep for that starts tomorrow!... Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Pre-Season is only a couple of weeks away commencing on Tuesday the 19th January 2021 at 6pm for all grades, Seniors, Reserves, Thirds, Womens and Colts so why not get down to the Den for a kick with a mate. The grounds are looking cherry ripe at the moment thanks to plenty of liquid sunshine. The club groundsmen are working overtime to make sure it is on point for the 19th with plenty of mowing and other chores. Oval 1 will get some attention on the eastern wing next week while Oval 2 will get its second top dress for the summer this week.
