10.01.2022 Grain Drying and Handling Facility MBI Engineering recently executed the electrical design and installation of a grain handling facility for an established agricultural client who grows corn, wheat, barley and Lucerne crops. We completed the full electrical design, constructed a Motor Control Centre, programming and integration, installation and commission of the electricals. MBI are also providing ongoing maintenance and support. ... This facility now allows the client to grow and harvest corn all year round and process their grain in large volumes at a fraction of the time, helping them become a more efficient producer See more

08.01.2022 And the concrete flooring is done! Looks great!

08.01.2022 MBI heading out to install an automatic stock and domestic pump system

06.01.2022 Protection System Maintenance and Testing: This project involved Secondary injection testing of 185 relays across six substations along with the load testing of the protection system battery banks of the two primary substations as well as the auxiliary power station. With the combination of electronic and electromechanical relays, we covered a range of protection functions including: *Overcurrent *Thermal overload *Earth fault ... *Voltage protection *Reverse power *Differential protection *Frequency out of step protection for synchronous motors See more

06.01.2022 The new MBI Engineering workshop frame is done! Next up plumbing and concrete flooring!

04.01.2022 Our website is now live, please go check it out!

03.01.2022 Substation Installation: The substations were an essential piece of infrastructure for the continual development of the mine to maintain power at the production face for the equipment, pumping and ventilation. By delivering these completed substations on time we were able to ensure production and advance rates were not affected by power availability. From the concrete slab through to the time current grading and protection settings, we completed the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of the substations.

01.01.2022 The new building is looking great- nearly finished!

01.01.2022 MBI Engineering recently fitted up one of our auto draft systems to another Silencer Cattle Crush supplied by The Catagra Group on a property in Northern Queensland. The system that was installed integrated the automatic operation of the crush in feed and head bale with the draft gates. It automatically sequences through the processing and drafting of each animal which continually operates in a cycle without the need for any input from the operator. This draft system was d...eveloped and built to complement the Silencer Cattle Crush with a throughput averaging upwards of 260 head/hour. MBI Engineering has been working closely with the team at Catagra Group who import and distribute the Silencer Cattle Crush throughout Australia. Our system interfaces with the customer’s weigh indicator to provide benefits of automation with the Silencer Crush. This removes human error during the drafting process and ensures the animals go where they are meant to.
