25.01.2022 Our Restoration team spent 2 days in Lithgow conducting a structural mould clean, getting the surfaces ready for a fresh coat of paint. 17.01.2022 This job was due to a small ongoing water leak in behind the sink. Using our Trotec moisture detection equipment, we identified that the water had spread out to much of the laminate and sub flooring as well as wall materials. Inspection of the crawl space found mould on the underside of the subfloor, so all affected flooring had the be removed. The remaining external wall and base plates were treated with our Protox mould chemicals and then target dried using our Drymatic wall mats and boost heaters. Dealing with the purchaser, seller and insurance companies involved. Works Completed and Timeline: 1. 3 weeks aggressively heat drying the timber flooring... 2. 6 weeks of letting the timber rest to allow for equilibrium 3. 4 days of sanding and applying sealer (around 1mm of sanding required) Customer is over the moon and proceeded to sell his property. The estimated cost for replacement of the flooring was $97,000 dollars. 13.01.2022 Our restoration team have been busy the last 2 days in bathurst at a house that had fire damage caused by an electrical fault. Most of the house is restorable so we went in and cleaned off the soot ready for the roof and walls to be re-painted and disposed any thing that was non salvageable. Great work McArdales team!!!
