25.01.2022 Its our birthday! MCARTHUR PARK KINDY IS TURNING 60! Tomorrow we celebrate with cake and birthday crowns our children have made. WE INVITE EVERYONE AND ANY PAST FAMILIES TO COME TO OUR OPEN DAY THIS FRIDAY FROM 10am-2pm. ... A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO RELIVE SOME PRESCHOOL MEMORIES AND SEE OUR BEAUTIFUL SPACE THAT WE LOVE. The kindy is set up for fun, the coffee machine will be on and hopefully the weather will be nice! 12.01.2022 - , : Today the Premier announced a 6 day statewide lockdown starting at midnight tonight (Wednesday 18 November) t...hrough to midnight Tuesday 24 November. Only the children of essential workers and vulnerable children will be able to attend school, preschool or childcare. A skeleton staff will provide supervision but not a learning program for the remainder of this week. All students have been asked to take home school laptops, devices, books and anything they need to continue their learning from home. More information on learning programs will be provided early next week.

04.01.2022 What a great way to end our term celebrating International Mud Day today! Sliding into a big muddy puddle, throwing mud pies, making colourful sparkling mud, farm animals in shaving cream mud, cooking in the mud kitchen and big muddy ponds. We also had our campfire where we toasted marshmallows and finished the day with pop corn and hot chocolate. We wish all our families a restful holidays and see you in two weeks for term 3.

02.01.2022 The staff have been getting ready for term 4 and can’t wait to see everbody next week. It’s going to be a big term with pre entry, school visits as well as exploring and learning through play. This term we have a Number and Oral Literacy focus. Through following the children’s interests from last term we have set up a post office; to spark children’s interest in writing, reorganised our library to include puzzles and a variety of fiction and non fiction books which are easily accessible as well as a quiet place to rest and relax as well as a designated numeracy area in the block corner with measuring tapes, scales, clocks and pens and paper to record our discoveries.
