25.01.2022 On Thursday night, the MCC Squash Section hosted the Club Championship finals. The club champs are a great warm-up event preceeding the Club Circuit season, commencing next week. In the Mens Open Final, Ed Dromgool was victorious over Warren Miller and Taylor Flavell won over Grazia Guida in the Womens Open Final. As always, the evening was concluded with dinner, drinks and great company. Looking forward to a successful season ahead.

24.01.2022 On Thursday night we held our Club Championships. It was the first official MCC Squash event held at our new home; the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre in Albert Park. MSAC is an outstanding squash venue and we’re excited to call it home. We're also looking forward to hosting opposition clubs in the upcoming Club Circuit season and other competitions. A special thanks to Peter Wright, who contributed an extraordinary amount of time and effort navigating the move and ensuring all arrangements were made for a seamless transition. You’re a legend of the club!

Please note that the bookings close on Friday 29th June. Please note that this is an afternoon match which begins at 3:20pm. 20.01.2022 This week a contingent of MCC Squash members toured Hong Kong and were hosted by the Hong Kong Cricket Club (HKCC). Whilst the success on the court was disappointing it was made up for with great company and hospitality provided by our Hong Kong CC counterparts. We look forward to hosting the HKCC in Melbourne in the not too distant future.

17.01.2022 Yesterday we hosted the Hong Kong Football Club. It was a great day of matches. Sadly, Hong Kong was too good for MCC. The matches were followed by a fantastic dinner in the city. We hope to tour Hong Kong in 2019 and schedule a re-match. Thanks to all the players from the HKFC for their participation and we look forward to meeting again soon.

17.01.2022 In 1981 the MCC Committee introduced an award perpetuating the memory of one of the MCC's greatest contributors as player and administrator; Hans Ebeling. The award honours those who have given outstanding service to the Sporting Sections. Last night at the Sports Sections Dinner, Bill Henderson was bestowed honour of receiving the Hans Ebeling Award. Bill has served the squash section since 1992 as a player, committee member and treasurer, which he continues to do to this day. Congratulations Bill! A well-deserved award.

03.01.2022 Hi All It is with deepest regret that I announce the passing of our special friend Paul Marmaras after a long illness, Paul passed away on Sunday morning April 26th... Paul made a significant contribution to squash all his life * Played State 1 level for many years * Played masters squash in Melbourne, and also played Australian and World Masters events * Built and managed the Wantirna Squash and Fitness centre * He was a Committee Member of MCC Squash from 2007 to 2011, and Match and Pennant Chairman for years 2007 and 2008 * He was a member on MCC Squash Section for 8 years, and played 107 matches in Club Circuit Competition * He generously donated his time and his expertise in coaching our lower grade players and juniors Paul will be sadly missed by his many squash friends all around Australia, Our condolences go to his long time partner Gianna Peter Wright OAM President Australian Masters Squash Association President Club Circuit Competition Chairman Melbourne Cricket Club Squash Section
