19.01.2022 I picked these little beauties up in November, but I couldnt decide on a fabric. They are suitable for 1-6 year olds I looked at stripes and spots but then I had a moment of clarity ( something that doesnt happen often ) Warwick Fabric in Bluestone. It complements the timber and the classic style of the chair while adding a modern twist. These are extremely rare TV style chairs from the Mid Century and I have 2 of them up for sale ( I have yet to do the 2nd one will get ...it finished this week ) These would be amazing at Grandma and Grandads for when the Grandkids come to visit. The timber has been restored and new foam made to measure. The springs are in near new condition. Contact me if your interested

19.01.2022 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This chair is about to have a massive transformation. Im so excited that Jo Ann has given me free reign. Its been in the family for 26 years , I will be the 3rd person to see it stripped down. It needs new foam in the back and webbing. It lives on the deck so Im going to use outdoor fabrics

18.01.2022 Retro Revival No1 Phil purchased 2 Retro Pool Loungers and had them powder coated Black. Using Quick Dry Foam and Warwick UV Pro Fabric I have given them a complete makeover, ready for summer. This is a recliner lounge, so the cushions have a tongue to join them together and a flap at the back to keep it in place and hide the supporting bars.

I did such a great job , that now they want the back cushions redoing The base was done in Warwick Sundec -Lomani Pebble and the foam was replaced with a commercial grade foam. 16.01.2022 One of my clients has a passion for Retro Cane Furniture.. These are new seats Cushions for her Indoor Dining Room Chairs. All the foam had to be replaced and shaped. We decided on Warwick UV Pro -Matacawa in Basalt.

16.01.2022 These two chairs made the journey to Gympie after a rather purrrrfect makeover.They now belong to Charlotte and Addison. The girls are cat crazy and found this rather cute cat fabric on the internet but unfortunately it was unsuitable for upholstery. I picked some of the main colours and the girls had to choose two of their favourite, which I used as the base for their chairs . I ordered a couple of meters of the cat fabric and made a couple of scatter cushions and a lamp shade to match pulling the look together.

14.01.2022 Vintage caravan makeover. I can hardly wait to see this finished. But my part is complete. Double sided cushions using 3Beaches Sunbrella fabric. The original cushions were innerspring with a reversible fabric in tones of cream and red . The modern version is a quality firm foam with striped pattern on one side and palm on the other in a fresh colour called Hedge .Made to measure and they fit snuggly over the table to form an extra bed

I picked up these little retro toddler chairs, they need a complete makeover. I just cant decide on what fabrics. These will be up for sale in the New Year so message me if you are interested ( maybe choose your own fabric) The big chair is a large 1 1/2 seater from the well known designer Jimmy Possum. 13.01.2022 Retro Revival at its best. Gone is the flower power vinyl. It has been replaced with Warwick Sundec fabric. Foam was replaced with exterior use foam. The frame has been powder coated in black for that modern look. Ready to take pride of place on the veranda.

11.01.2022 Diary of a Wingback Chair Stage 2 While I wait for my foam to arrive I decided to have a look at what left over fabric bits I had in my stash. We are aiming for a patchwork eclectic look.... Keeping with my clients colour preferences Ive kept monochrome on the outside and introduced a splash of green ( a little more olive than in the photos) and Im waiting on 1m of terracotta Sunbrella to place on the inside of the wings. All the piping is black. The seat cushion has the green on one side and will be terracotta on the other. So far Im totally stoked with the overall look. Ive taken photos to remind me of placement. Cant quite believe Ive only had to purchase 1m of fabric See more

Stripped to the bare bones Nothing could be salvaged, Frame needs some reinforcement and webbing needs replacing. The legs will get a fresh look with a black coat of paint. See more

I’ve reinforced all joints that needed attention , all the webbing has been replaced and now has a lovely fresh ‘bounce’ The arms and wings have been shaped and padded with foam then covered in a layer of Dacron. I’m trying to keep the shape the same as before so I can use the old fabric as a pattern. The edge profile foam had perished so I’ve replaced that with a black rubber one, this will help give the timber edge a softness under the fabric.

Using Warwick Sundec ~ Lomani Pebble we have given this setting a fresh look ready for the silly season. The Foam was in pretty good condition, so we reused them. 01.01.2022 Unfortunately while I am away in the UK dealing with a family matter our beautiful home in Brisbane caught fire. It is structurally unsafe and has extensive smoke damage. Thankfully all my boys and animals were able to escape. On my return to Oz all my energy will be directed into the rebuild and cleaning, so I have decided to close the business until next year.
