19.01.2022 M U M :: 21 years ago I became a mum. At that time I had absolutely NO idea what I was doing. I am not sure if I know what I’m doing now, 21 years later... lol ::... What I do know is that I was gifted 3 beautiful children and God must’ve had faith that I would survive (along with the kids) being their mum. He chose ME, to guide, to teach, to love, to respect and above all else LEARN. :: Looking back at the last 21 years being a mum I was fortunate enough to have been able to grow with them. I didn’t have the opportunity to learn life lessons before becoming a mum. I learnt all those lessons BEING a mum. Did I make mistakes...oh absolutely. But being a mum did not allow me to sit & dwell, I had to keep moving. :: What advice would I give to my younger self as a mum now? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Because simply there is no other way that I would want to have lived my life. 09.01.2022 Blair Stanley McGufficke -18- -11/12/2002 :: Our 2nd born child and what a beautiful little baby he was. Perfect some would say. Already had a big brother to take care of him. The littlest & quietest of our kids. Always chilled, nothing ever worried him, happy doing whatever is going on. A water baby, like his brother, enjoyed footy & tball and just generally running around. The best big brother to his little sister Ava always looking out for her, (poor thing now, can’t g...et away with anything thanks to her brothers) Teenage years and BAM Haha but you know what- it’s a process. Like mums and dads, we aren’t perfect. We all go through seasons in life and my boy Blair was no different. One day, one week, one year at a time. As a family, mum, dad, brother, sisters, auntys, grandparents, cousins, partner, -we walked through the seasons with so much love. :: 2020 was certainly a year for our Blair & hopefully one that he remembers he never faced alone. For me as his mum, I never ever want my children to ever feel they were alone through any season, good or bad. We never get to turn back time to revisit special moments BUT we do get to cement a memory in our children’s headspace to ensure that during any season, they remember FAMILY :: Today my boy, as your mumma, I’m super proud of you.
