15.01.2022 F R E S H O U T T H E F A C T O R Y There's a laundry list of things that, as you get older, hinder the frequency of hitting the water. Children, work and those extra couple of beers watching the footy don't help either. Enter stage left - we have the Sumo. It's a voluminous midlength with its wide point way forward and tail pulled into a tight pin. Complete with a hi-performance shortboard back-end and 2+1 fin setup, the Sumo is the fun-for-all shred machine for anyone craving a little extra paddling assistance. This particular beauty was dipped head to toe in a delicious mustard yellow semi-opaque tint, features a 3/4 deck patch and a sporty 2+1 fin set up. 09.01.2022 F R E S H O U T T H E F A C T O R Y Finally the conditions of late call for the shedding of fullsuits and quick surfs before work (often sloppy, but fun high tide shoreys). Our board of Choice? Well, you're going to need either length or width. In this case we have chosen width and have stripped the weight out of our classic Vinnie. Less weight means quicker direction changes and the ability to generate speed, allowing it to fit into the generally more ragged conditions of... spring. The Vinnie Craig has less bottom rail edge allowing for quicker, tighter turns than the more drawn-out carves of the Vinnie. Perfect to bounce off wonky sections, climb foam and snap tight arcs. So yes, a well designed narrow-tailed fish works incredibly well in these spring/summer conditions. This particular Vinnie Craig comes in at 5'3" and includes Futures finboxes (we paired it with the Tyler Warren Captain Fin twins) feat. a classic sky-blue gradient spray on the deck.
