06.01.2022 The reality of, CPP (Close Personal Protection) in the World of Anti-Human Trafficking. A little insight as a Contractor in a dark world of pain and suffering.... It is late at night, and I have a client who is part of an organisation that needs to attend a meeting. A meeting with a known identity in the area of trafficking. They need to be escorted to the meeting, as this meeting is one where there is the possibility of gaining information on trafficked children. We are in an area in South East Asia, where the streets are run by criminal syndicates and corrupt individuals. We know it is dangerous, we know that there are no guarantees we are not being set up. An I am always honest with my clients. That I cannot guarantee I will get them in and out safely. I will at all times disclose all information in relation to the associated risks. All security assessments have been undertaken. But when it is time to go, it is then all up to experience, and thinking on your feet. Always processing your evacuation plan, always assessing your options for evading capture and escaping danger when necessary. Keeping your senses on alert, when you are in a no win situation, other than survival for you and the client if the S#*T hits the fan. Operating in Anti-Human Trafficking is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, as well as being one of the most dangerous things you could do. Sometimes you have the benefit of working in a team. However, the majority of my work is one up. With no back up, and that can include working in areas where there is not even any law enforcement support due to corruption. Operating in dark alley ways and streets that scream danger, will and always does inject fear and adrenaline shooting through my body. And usually while escorting another individual that is reliant on you if things go wrong. Yet knowing that what I am doing is for the good of children suffering in a World they did not choose to enter. Knowing that what I feel and face is insignificant to what they must and do face on a daily basis. It is the thought of their fear and the realities of the atrocities they are dealt and face everyday, that gives me the strength and courage to move forward. I will put my client at easy with reinforcing my confidence, and at the same time making sure my professional approach instils confidence in them. As we both know it is what has to be done to fight this epidemic of child trafficking. FORGET THE GLITS AND GLAMOUR

06.01.2022 For many years now, I have been working in High Risk CPP. Specialising in mainly 1 up protection in the area of Anti-Human Trafficking. Entering high risk zones, offering CPP to NGO personnel and individuals that need to enter high risk areas. Obviously this is mainly what we classify as low profile. Not overt and obvious. It takes a different set of specialist skills to undertake this type of role, and one I have had to adapt many existing policies, procedures, and learn ski...lls to deal with this specialist role. Often I get approached by CPP personnel about this field of work. I had a Seminar planned for this in February, but unfortunately due to my work load in this area, it cannot go ahead, as I will be deployed. There will be another opportunity later in the year.
