22.01.2022 COURSE REPORT Hello Members and guests Currently we are experiencing quite a heat wave in Seq which is drying the course our considerably.... Greens are our number one focus making sure we keep our moisture percentages where they need to be. Yesterday via our moisture probe we were getting canopy temperatures of 52 degrees, unbelievable! Wetting agents this time of year are a must, we also hand water our dry areas which we call hot spots with wetting agent via a tablet applicator. These are tablets which dissolve as the water passes through the applicator applying the water and product exactly where it is needed. The 15th tee is now open and from all reports everyone is enjoying this beautiful part of the course. The new 9th green is taking shape with us beginning the installation of the drainage and irrigation this week, our aim to have stolons planted before Christmas. Kind Regards Luke Helm Superintendent

16.01.2022 **JUNIOR GOLF NEWS** ******* Announcement ******* Great News we restart the weekly junior playing this week from Sat May 15. Each week will look like the following if you wish to join in just send me a text message on 0411814786. 1. 1.30 - 2.30 warmup and training with Chris Beckett as well as some education with rules etc... 2. Balls provided for the kids 3. Tee times will be from about 2.30 4. There will be a 6 hole comp and a 9 hole comp each week 5. Cost is only $10 to enter weekly 6. There will be a monthly medal on the first Sat of each month 7. 6 holers will play off purple front tees until they achieve 12 points or more for 6 holes. 9 holers will be a handicap system based on performance and play off the back junior tees at this point. 8. There will be small weekly prizes. 9. For new kids they must have their parent caddy 10. For 9 holers there must be at least one parent in the group if the kids are experienced. Spread the good news. 15.01.2022 Many Congratulations to Lance Costello for winning his Match Play vs Rodney Seagrove with the tight score of 1 up. Lance is our very first Singles Knockout Finalist and he will play for the Championship on Saturday vs the winner of Peter Goodhew and Jasmin Becirbasic.

15.01.2022 The team at Mini Golf Creations is nearing week 4 of construction at The Meadowbrook Golf Club. The progress has been brilliant and we're halfway home to finishing the shaping of the 18 holes. Concreting just after Xmas and then the synthetic grass goes on. Hopefully ready to open in February 2021.
