25.01.2022 On the 10th day of Christmas the Bulldogs gave to us... The recommitment of our 2020 Kev Thomas Medalist Luke Smart. Back onboard in the Green & Gold for season 2021. After another solid year in the Midfield we are looking forward to both our Luke's, our Dutton's, Thomo's and all the boys at the Kennel this year having a big impact in the comp for the upcoming season.

24.01.2022 On the 8th day of Christmas the Bulldogs gave to me.... a multiple Best & Fairest Winner and a previous Leader of our club, returning home to the Bulldogs after a few years with the Mount Barker FC in division 1. The Committee and playing group are excited to see this man back in the Green & Gold.... Today we officially welcome back Mark Thomas to the MFC for season 2021. With Mark back in the Green & Gold Bars this year it will only add to our already impressive Midfield group with his ability to win his own footy and helping drive our boys to success in 2021. 20.01.2022 On the 9th Day the Bulldogs gave to us... a couple of good little players... the recommitment of two of the best left footers in the club. The return of our 2019 Kev Thomas Best and Fairest winner Braeden Bezzina and our crafty left foot goal sneak Daniel Stock. The Dogs are happy to see these boys both are back in the Green and Gold for season 2021.

19.01.2022 The Meadows Football Club is saddened to hear of the passing of Len Brooks who passed on the 21st October 2020 aged 79 years. Our thoughts go out to the family, many of whom are actively involved with the sporting clubs of Meadows as Len was. During his time with the Football Club Len was a Junior Premiership Coach, A Grade Premiership Player, Committee man, Team Manager, Secretary and Treasurer which rightfully so, resulted in him being named as a Life Member. Len dedicated... more hours to this club than we care to imagine. We thank Len and his family for their service to the Meadows Football Club. It is impossible to summarise a lifetimes dedication in one post. Len’s service will be held on Monday 2nd November at 2pm at Kleemann’s, due to COVID 19 restrictions you will have to register to attend by contacting either [email protected] or phoning 83982244 by the 30th October. The service will be live streamed at vimeo.com/472124621 and will be followed by a Committal Service at the Meadows Cemetery before heading back to the Football Club Rooms for drink and afternoon tea. 14.01.2022 The Meadows FC Welcomes Shaun Steele to the Meadows Bulldogs for 2021. Shaun joins us after being apart of Bridgewater's Leadership group and finishing in the top 4 of the BnF this year rolling through the middle and up forward for the past few years at Bridgy. He also spent some time playing and living in Sydney and prior to this he was in the Riverland Football League with Waikerie finishing in the top 10 goal kickers in the League consistently in his time at Waikerie as a key forward during their 2014 premiership and their 2015 GF loss. After moving into the Meadows township its a good fit for Shaun and we are excited to have Shaun on board and look forward to seeing him in the Green & Gold this year....Welcome Shaun

13.01.2022 A huge shout out to Meadows Hotel and Meadows Country Meats for their donations towards the banner fundraiser. The Banner looked great and the boys brought home the premiership which was fantastic. 3 lucky square sheets were sold with 6 winners in total.... 12.01.2022 We are so excited to be celebrating our 20th anniversary of the A grade GF win against ironbank in 2001, some small changes for the celebrations tomorrow. We are asking everyone who would normally watch the game from the lawn bowls hill to find a new spot just for tomorrow, to allow the 2001 team to celebrate without breaking any covid rules and interruptions. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you out on park!

11.01.2022 On the 7th Day the Bulldogs gave to us..... JOE SCHWAB. The Meadows Football Club would like to congratulate Joe Schwab who has been successfully appointed as our B Grade Coach for season 2021. Joe has coached at Junior level in the past before perusing his work and combining it with his passion footy (which took him to the Riverland to cover the RFL for a few years before returning home). Joe was introduced to the senior playing group this week and we are looking forward to having him apart of our Senior Coaching group for season 2021. We wish you all the best in your new role Joe and bring on season 2021.

08.01.2022 Update for Saturday’s Grand Final. Due to COVID requirements for events where 1000 people or more are present there is contact tracing required for all people at the ground. To facilitate this tickets for the Grand Final at Kersbrook this Saturday are available to purchase online so if not done in advance you will need to fill the contact tracing form in before being granted entry which will make entry a very slow process. The HFL have not as yet received approval from the department of health to have more than 1000 people at the ground at this stage so please purchase tickets ASAP. This is especially important for players as the HFL are not giving free entry to players this year unlike other years. 08.01.2022 This Saturday the Meadows Football Club welcome back our 2001 Div 2 A Grade Premiership Team for their 20 year reunion. 20 years ago this year the below group went into the Grand Final against Ironbank and took home the win MEADOWS 14 goals 10 (94) to IRONBANK 6 goal 7 (43).
