17.01.2022 I was doing a Moon Board session at the Lactic Factory and was trying a challenging problem. The 2nd last hold was really small and a cruxy stopper hold. So I regressed the problem using the slightly better hold under it, making the problem doable whilst maintaining the same movement pattern as the original. Once I had this dialled, I progressed to using the smaller hold. This is a useful tactic for training on plastic. Another handy regression which locks in the movement patterns is the use of a 'power spot', a gentle push on the back by your spotter. Get it sussed then progress to no power spot.
