24.01.2022 WORKSHOP SUCCESS MeCo Beginners XL Sunday 15 November 2020 The Peach Farm Mororo... It was a hot one down at the Peach Farm on Sunday morning where we were joined by twelve gorgeous guests for our final knotty gathering down at Mororo! The majority of guests on this day were complete beginners, with three who had previously knotted at a MeCo Workshop There were some great questions about knot tension and techniques, where guests often knew exactly where the ropes had to go, but the hands didn't compute Fortunately there are many different ways to adjust techniques to allow for a smoother and more enjoyable knotting experience After knotting up a storm, our guests were treated to the most delicious morning tea which consisted of home baked scones with generous servings of jam and cream, cinnamon scrolls, savoury pastries, rich carrot cake and sweet slices To our host the Peach Farm, thank you once more for welcoming us into your space and taking great care of our guests one last time Ed and Ray, the Clarence Valley is so lucky to have you and your beautiful farm to enjoy, and I wish you many more years of success! It has been a pleasure to work with you to hold these events for our community! To my lovely Sue, thank you for being a part of the MeCo journey for these past two years, your love and passion for this craft is wonderful to behold.. one last hurrah to go! To our beautiful guests, thank you for joining us at this workshop - your projects turned out so beautifully! We hope that you will all continue to enjoy your journey with macrame! It was such a pleasure to share this highly addictive craft with you!

21.01.2022 A STITCH IN TIME MeCo Macrame Through the Years Humble Beginnings To Present Times... Today was the last MeCo Workshop for 2020 And for now.. It is also the last MeCo Workshop for the Clarence Valley It only felt fitting that I should dedicate a post to all the wonderful guests, customers, businesses, mentors and life long friends that I have made along the way MeCo Macrame humbly began in 2018 as a commission based hobby business It was a year of challenge, risk, learning, sacrifice and great personal growth It was also the beginning of my first workshop experience in collaboration with Peta Pearce at Zaaton Tea House and Blossoms From there, there was no looking back! Since that time, MeCo Macrame has delivered a total of 78 workshops between Lismore and Coffs Harbour, with the vast majority taking place in the Clarence Valley In my time as an instructor, I have taught more than 900 guests and have gone through more spools of cotton than I could poke a stick at! But none of this was in isolation: "Never forget where you've been. Never lose sight of where you're going. And never take for granted the people who travel the journey with you" - Susan Gale Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this incredible journey with me I can't wait to see what the future brings!
