09.01.2022 Whilst working in the internal medicine ward and ambulatory clinic of a busy teaching hospital in Ethiopia, Eyob Gebreyohannes encountered numerous cases where patients suffer from potentially preventable ischemic stroke due to Atrial Fibrillation (AF). Eyob is conducting short, semi-structured interview with GPs practicing in WA, hearing the thoughts of GPs as a critical step in his efforts to optimise anticoagulation management in people with AF.
