22.01.2022 Valla Rod Run 2021 Update : The Drag-ens Hot Rod Club is pleased to announce that as a result of ongoing discussions with the management of Valla Beach Tourist ...Park, the 2021 Valla Park Rod Run is to be held in its traditional format. Some minor cabin accommodation will be lost due to the removal of the Yurts/Round Houses and adjacent cabins. Subject to a planned joint assessment between the Drag-ens and Valla Park management, some other cabins may also be deemed as no longer safely habitable. It is planned for these to be replaced with powered camp sites located amongst the other cabins. We will provide you with further updates in due course. See more

21.01.2022 Northern Districts Rod and Customs would like to invite all classic car enthusiasts to our next car show 17/10/2020 the show starts at 4pm until around 7:30. We... are going to re introduce our cruise which takes in the Redcliffe water front as we have had many people request this. Here's a couple of pictures from last month's show I urge people not to leave until after we draw the raffle and award our exclusive trophy which can only be won by attending our show. We're just letting everyone know that the money that we raise helps with the running costs of our car club we are a non-profit organization and donate money back into our local community to try and help everyone. 15.01.2022 Christmas Party. On Saturday afternoon of the 5th December Toowoomba Hot Rodders joined together for our Christmas Party. The afternoon kicked off with some cooling games led by Yogi. Lots of $5.00 notes were being handed out as prizes and you didn't have to be old to win. Dinner was served once the evening had cooled off a bit and then there was the over-indulgence of deserts supplied by member's families. No one should have gone home hungry. Many thanks from everyone for those who played a major part in organising and buying main course and for all those who brought food along. A great night to finish off a pretty ordinary year. Bring on a much improved version for 2021.

Well, it's time to relive it all again. Meet in Rielly Street (near Carrington Road) from 11.00am. Our cruise destination will be a little out of Toowoomba with plenty of food and drink options available for a casual Sunday lunch. All cars, all clubs, all club rego cars welcome (SA 177-04-2020). Please continue the well behaved attitude that everyone has now adopted for local car events so we can continue organising them for everyone's enjoyment. Cruising with your mates and heaps of cars cruising together is almost as good as the car scene gets so let's make it too hard for covid to breathe next Sunday November 15. See more

03.01.2022 This morning's run to Goombungee Antiques and Café for breakfast/morning tea/brunch. Twelve cars turned out on this glorious, but very warm morning. It was great to have a bit of a run through meandering country roads. Today it was just as much about the journey as it was the destination.
