Ricki Anderhuber went to Southern Italy Lifestyle staff are providing a shopping trolley to ensure our residents don’t miss out on the treats they were previously getting from our kiosk.( Anne Beattie) Mary King has been busy knitting toys and slippers. 16.01.2022 As Christmas 2020 rapidly we have decided to send an update on visiting hours to our facility. Medea Park continues to require you to make an appointment to visit your loved ones, administration will be closed from lunch time 24 December through to Tuesday 29 December. You are welcome to visit over those days but we require you to give us a call (if possible) before Christmas to make appointments. Administration will be open on Tuesday 29, Wednesday 30 and Friday 31 Dec...ember 2020 between 09:00 - 3:00 and closed Friday 1 January reopening again on the Monday 4th January 2021. 14.01.2022 19/06/2020 Good afternoon all Residents and familes. This is a message to inform you that as the result of recent information from the State Government, the decision has been made that all Aged Care Facilities across Tasmania will be relaxing the visiting requirements. I am sure you will all be delighted to know that the visiting restrictions have been altered (as of Monday 22nd June 2020). The restrictions are as outlined below. ... Up to two people per visit with visit times unrestricted and multiple visits allowed in one day, obviously only one visit at a time Persons under the age of 16 will be allowed to visit an aged care facility (Must supply proof of Flu Vacc) Visiting services such as hairdressers and allied health professionals will be able to attend a facility; and Residents will be allowed to leave the facility, for example with friends and family. Booking system in place for entry only All social distancing remains in place. Therefore, visits will take place in your room or an outside courtyard area, not in communal areas. Please ask your family to phone from Monday to make a booking These will remain from Monday to Friday only. This is effective from Monday 22nd June 2020. 05.01.2022 Medea Park have been directed by the Government to close our facility and prohibited all non-essential visitors to our facility. Medea Park will advise if any changes are made to the direction by the Government. The following information has been provided to families. This is a message to inform you that as at the result of recent information from the state Government the decision has been made that all Aged Care Facilities across Tasmania will be closed to all non-essential... visitors. The exception will be relatives of residents who are receiving palliative care. This will require all relatives that wish to visit the facility to hold a discussion with Management prior to attending the home.
