14.01.2022 The Importance of cleaning your rollers: The below short video is an example of how dirty the CR rollers can get. Such build up is generally transferred over to your Xray plates and as a result will then transfer over to your Xray images, potentially reducing the Diagnostic Imaging quality of your X-rays. Prevention is the cure, and in this case there is a few simple steps you can take in reducing artefacts in your X-rays and prolonging the life of your Scanner and your X-ray... plates. 1- Perform Roller cleaning every 1000 scans, your scanner will remind you of this, dont ignore it, if in doubt call our support line on 1300-658-103 2- Keep the room clean, that is regular vacuuming of the room and dusting on and around the scanner 3- Clean your Phosphor plates and cassettes every time you perform roller cleaning. 4- Schedule in a preventative maintenance visit every 6-12 months (depending how many X-rays you procure each month).
