11.01.2022 ROTARY......PEOPLE OF ACTION... ......ON YOUR BIKE....

11.01.2022 Rotary Daybreak met at our Daybreak Park, Rowes Bay, last week. We honoured the memory of our former member, Jenny Gelling, as well as receiving a 100-years of Rotary baton from Townsville Club. We now have 14 days to pass this baton on to another Rotary Club in the vicinity - a great way for Rotarians to mix with other Clubs. The first photo is a basket of toys donated by our Club for distribution to children at Christmas by St. Vincent de Paul. One photo also shows our honorary member, Miriam, from a Club in Brazil, with a delicacy from her home country, a delicious corn cake to share.

11.01.2022 The Centenery Baton was handed on to Home Hill Rotary last night. Pictured is Daybreak Rotarys vice President Trevor Hyatt. Home Hill President John Woods, and Daybreaks Jenny Hyatt and Valerie Brown. Home Hill now have 4 weeks ( because of the christmas break) to hand it on to the next club from Group 3. Word is it will go south.

11.01.2022 It was cold at Daybreak Rotarys meeting this morning. We regularly meet at The Ceramic Pantry. Fulham road Opposite the Mater. Wednesday mornings 6.45.
