25.01.2022 Appallingly, he mentions that he had high hopes that the recent ‘flu season would really help his profit margins! Why would you choose a Funeral Director from this company?

23.01.2022 This will make farewells that little bit easier.

I have written a piece with advice on how to write a good Eulogy. Please contact me and I'll email the document to you.... Facebook Pages don't have an option to upload files, so this is the best work around.

22.01.2022 With the Didgeridoo playing and the Haka, today's funeral was very special. A fitting farewell to a young gun shearer. With the Didgeridoo playing and the Haka, today's funeral was very special. A fitting farewell to a young gun shearer.

18.01.2022 An incredibly poignant Memorial today for my nephew-in-law. Taken too soon..

17.01.2022 Beautiful send off for a very special lady today.Beautiful send off for a very special lady today.

16.01.2022 Mine would have to be a Tupperware bowl! How crazy is that? But, it’s the old fashioned style bowl that Mum used to whip cream. It was passed on to my sister, who has since died and she passed it on to me...

15.01.2022 Here’s a beautiful song with a special meaning for those who have lost an important man from their lives. https://youtu.be/Wuq7MH71Nbg

15.01.2022 We’re very fortunate in Albany to have three wonderful Funeral Homes that are independent and family owned.

14.01.2022 It's important to plan for your funeral. I don't want some maudlin song playing at mine, that's for sure! My choice will probably be Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd or Deep Purple. Notice how they're all colours? Must have been a thing in the 70's

13.01.2022 What a beautiful way to remember a loved one.

11.01.2022 Welcome to my Facebook page. I understand how this must be a difficult time for you and your family. I hope to be able to ease some of the distress of organising a funeral service for your loved one. Allow me to work with you to create a meaningful and personal celebration of life. 11.01.2022 Planning a Memorial right now for a special family member. I want it to be something that he would have enjoyed, not a sombre and sad occasion. We will still be grieving, but through the tears we will be able to smile and laugh at the wonderful memories and fun times that we shared.Planning a Memorial right now for a special family member. 10.01.2022 Not sure I’d be keen to be buried in a baguette. Maybe a ukulele case!

08.01.2022 A great little sketch about how to help a friend or relative who is grieving.

08.01.2022 Such an honour to be perfoming the funeral service for a young gun shearer this Friday.

08.01.2022 Funerals look very, very different in these trying times. it is so very sad that people can't mourn the loss of their loved one by hugging and kissing family and friends. Physical and social contact is such an important step in the healing process. It is a human need to connect physically anytime, but especially during times of duress. ... My sincere condolences to those who are experiencing the loss of a loved one in the current climate.

02.01.2022 There are many ways you can celebrate your loved ones life. The Funeral Director doesn't really need to be involved in these.

02.01.2022 So important to honour the wishes of loved ones and to see them off in the way they would like.

01.01.2022 What do you say to someone who's dying? Here's a useful guide to help you in this situation. https://www.virtualhospice.ca//Tips+for+Talking+with+Someo

01.01.2022 Worth a watch, but, just know that this does not happen here in Albany. Our Funeral Directors are top notch. The programme was terribly biased, showing two of the worst in the industry. There is a body that maintains standards in the funeral industry, however it’s not mandated. All the FD’s I work with are members of the Funeral Directors Association of Australia.

01.01.2022 An important message at this time of year...
