24.01.2022 New stocks of parts arrived from our manufacturers in last week so much assembly and packaging to be done. There are some large orders are on the horizon........ It could be a challenge making the time for my Spaniels recreation but i'll manage. They've been keeping a close eye on things......

22.01.2022 Megatech Ragcutter Machines manufacture the Best Ragcutter machine on the Gold Coast in Australia. No one else but us manufactures this machine we personally make and market it from scratch. We make it not only to last a long time, but trouble free and super safe. We’ve been doing this since early 2009, previously being marketed as a ragcutter by Southport Engineering We developed it further and ensured customers got the best service and materials, attempting to answer emails within hours night and day.

22.01.2022 Sharpen Daily for Maximum Output You possibly need some more sharpeners if the machine is more than a year old - usually a sharpeners lasts 6 8 months before it loses most of the diamond grit from it. That depends if it is being used daily or not, if used daily it pays to sharpen it before starting each day as it only takes 20 seconds or so for a couple of wipes either side.... It pays to always keep an extra one "up your sleeve" as it then becomes easy to check the condition of the one you're using against a new one. You may have seen the how to videos on the website showing sharpening and other tips. If the blade has become blunt you may need to have it machine ground by an industrial blade and knife sharpener business in your area, or buy a new blade. They are made from a very tough, High Speed Steel (HSS) the same steel used to make drills for drilling thru’ steel; so once they are blunt it is impossible to sharpen them with a diamond sharpener. They need to be kept razor sharp by regular sharpening then the sharpener can maintain it for a long time. Cutting is truly effortless when it’s kept razor sharp, productivity is bound to increase as a result. This blade photo shows Sellotape residue on it which we cleaned off - I sent the photo to my manufacturer asking them not to use tape on the blade surface which they have overcome in the next shipment, we are very fussy because we don't want you to have any problems with our machines - we want them working 24/7 with the absolute minimum of downtime for your productivity. 03.01.2022 The motor cover was made within a few days, in response to a request from a new customer who wanted to cover the motor cooling fins so jewellery and knuckles could not get caught on them. We thought it was a reasonable addition as it does provide a nice smooth surface for material to slide over when cutting too.
