24.01.2022 FYI. They don't float. The pearl beads are a little lighter in the water but they will still sink. Also, the beads lose their appeal in water as they become almost invisible. A bowl full of purple beads then topped up with water will look more like a bowl of purple water for example. The beads aren't optically separate from the water
